Am eyeing on a 1 year old second hand GTi, with APR Stage 1, can anyone advise how would the VMG / Service Center look at the warranty of this car with the stage 1 mod???

can non-Wearnes cars go there too? what are the prices like? anyone been d?

u are right and there's nothing much you can do.

currently, that's how the strategy VW is using. I don't know whether is it helping them or upsetting recent owners.

The tsi u got is from the old batch which doesn't come with DRL however i believe your dad must have got a pretty good deal or a good interest rate.

The new batch doesn't offer that much, but i heard recently, raya promo u get about 3.5k off.

So..... yea.... that's about it. Same old story being told over and over again~~

Standard answer to this question is it depends on your relationship with the service center/service advisor. Some people's warranties get burned, some don't.

But to be extra safe you might wanna go back to APR and ask them to remove the remap whenever you want to make a warranty claim. If I'm not mistaken they'll do this and reinstall for free as many times as you like.

No remaps there. Technically VW will not offer any official remaps for their cars. Unlike BMW which has the power performance pack for the 320d.

yah all the remaps are 3rd party ... even ABT is not considered an official remap but it does come with some sort of warranty for that peace of mind... think 60k warranty on ECU, engine and gearbox ... (if not mistaken).. so rm7k remap with a 60k warranty ? worth it ? hehe

Not prem8. Basically same. Prem8 useless1 lah unless u buy d reverse camera original fr vw which cost more than rm1.5k. If u buy aftermarket rearview cam u still need to buy a media video ctroller to fit it irregardless of prem8 or not. Hope its lcear. Cheers
