Can you justify your statement a little more? What exactly makes VW snobbish? Is it because they can only deliver early next year? If so I don't think it's fair to blame VWM for that, they have no control over vehicle production output.

My experience with VW so far has been excellent, from the first time I walked into their show room to the first time I stepped into the service center. Only complaint is they take a little too long to service your car.

um cabin size? seriously its fast, mainly cause its light, it picks up really fast, suspension wise, it hurts my ass the whole test drive, but handling surprisingly was good, was expecting understeer but dont have at all. i think mainly the chasis size is the main factor for price difference la

bro you are comparing a small car to luxury sedans le, of course if you look closely cannot compete weh, jsut look at the specs of the a4 or c200(i prefer c250 cgi la) so much more than the polo gti so memang cant compete la. also what are you determining on the definition on "beat"? luxury? performance? handling?

pick up and dsg kicks in and etc, i think polo can beat benz c200, A4 uses the same techno, so i assume the 2.0 boost a 200bhp, so polo gti can't kick A4's ass.

but like you guys said, polo will always and still be a polo. Benz n A4 is higher in terms of perceived value and branding wise.

but seriously bro. rocco n golf's ass being kicked by polo gti really doesnt make sense. but if all 3 car drives out, i think rocco - golf - polo. value wise

so, shouldn't lose too much out. haha

speed your only criteria? then why not get a modded myvi or satria or lancer. way cheaper and faster.......

sigh......a car is about character, handling ,power , yes looks and a blend of all these to give a unique driving experience...

c 200? a4? in what capacity are you comparing them to? if it is speed, what criteria? top speed ? 0-100 km/hr? quarter mile? they are all different....


for an example compared to some cars, the polo gti might be faster at 0-100 but after a while they might over take it at speed. For the 2.0 A4 its a better car all around, ride, handling comfort space. speed (in all aspects) not to mention that you can buy more than 2 polo gtis with the same money....

Sadly such wonderful experience of yours did not experienced by myself as well as many more members in this thread.

And on the bolded part, that alone without improvement for almost a year now is not VGM fault? Remember on early 2011 GTI buyers ended up not able to get the SE version? In addition the Polo GTI test drive for VIP only, all this are not good enough being justified as being snobbish?
