initially i wanted to get rieger back and sides + R bumper (since was told by many the rieger bumper is too low). But found out to hav parts n pieces fr diff set is costly ... so finally i think i'll compromise by getting full rieger kit.... if n touchwood i break the front bumper... prob i'll just replaced it with a RocR bumper...

however i'll still hav to decide now to go for the full rieger bumper .. or the front rieger add-on bumper...

Noticing a slight vibrating noise coming from somewhere around the dashboard of my Golf 1.4 TSI when I moderately accelerate from 1st or 2nd gear. The vibration goes away in a few seconds, but it sounds quite annoying.

Car is very new, mileage around 500km only.

Anyone knows if this is normal?

Yes, noticed that also, but I think it doesn't come from dashboard, its from the engine...? it goes away after the car at D3 or higher when the car moves to 40+km/h...anyone seeing the same thing??

bro.. u r right... if d front piece is duper duper cheap.. dun mind just put on the add-on for few mths.. not likey.. just throw away n change to the whole bumper set lo...

the add-on is higher than the whole bumper replacement right ? in terms of ground clearance ?

Bro, no need to throw le, can give me... Hehe

Btw guys, any recommendation for workshop that does a good job painting racing stripes?
Something like the mini coopers.

The center stripes or the 2 side stripes looks better?

guys, will be looking around for a set of Golf R rears. ive heard that there are 2 types being sold on our market - one being the original Germany set, and the other being the China made set. how would i be able to tell the difference? is there any specific markings on these lamps that i can look out for eg. VW logo? cheers (and have a yellow weekend!) smile.gif

Just buy from our brother jwrx. No need to worry about all that ... he even brings in the faster smoked red version.
