guys if anything similar this happened, what to do...
ram is loose enough, 1500 CL8-9-9.

It could be the ram or cpu is unstable, whats ur ram volt & ur cpu-nb speed & volt?

iinm, ram volt 1.66Vdimm, 14XX CL8-9-9
cpu-nb speed : 2730Mhz
cpu-nb volt : 1.288V

cpu only 3.8Ghz, but slightly high vcore : 1.48Vcore
using MSi 990FXA GD65

now i'm using diff HDD.

post ya oc setup, include voltages value too. it's hard for us to guess by just lookin at d benchies, not d details of ya oc'ed setup.

u need to check whether it's

1. cpu
2. ram
3. imc

is causin d instability. eliminates 2 of those 3 values at a times so that u can find out what's d culprit. sorry to say that gd65 ain'tt really a superb clocker board, but still decent enuf i reckon considerin ya clocks are still pretty much non extreme.

Added on March 26, 2012, 4:38 pmforgot to mention. when i'm using lower divider ram, lower cpu-nb clock, lower HT link, the proc still need a high voltage to run any bench.

3.7Ghz 1.45Vcore
3.8Ghz 1.48-1.49Vcore
3.9Ghz 1.49-1.51 still crash/ BSOD, cannot run any 3dmark bench and wPrime

if that's d case most likely u got a bad chip. from all 945 i've seen, none of 'em are good clocker, eventhou bein a c3 chip. keep imc @ 2500, ram 1600ish @ 9-9-9/8-9-8 w/ 1.65v, cpu clock wise u gotta try which is d combo (clock & vcore) ya coolin is comfortable with.

yup².. otherwise pengsan hitting 80c...
H80 load temp 68c..

4cores only +100mhz from below screen.. so using optimized X6 setup as below..

Any comments on the ASUS TurboV OC feature?

u had yaself a very decent x6 there...

it's very useful for quickie or finetuniin, however for 24/7 setup, i'd prefer set it @ bios.

UEFI la nice.. this is the first asus' budget mobo which is stable i've ever owned..
but still bios have minimal cosmetics bugs..

and i notice near PWM there freaky hot ler.. should i blow with fan?
but mobo temp still ok..

y not 97 evo bro? i believe d price diff is negligible. dunno why but i always prefer evo than vanila version, well, mebe i'm just bein cautious w d naming...

better safe than sorry bro, so i'd say actively cool d pwm is a "play safe" move. those fets will get toasty once d clock & amount of juice increased.

nice attempt there mate. UEFI or not, mild oc with asus boards (mid range of 8xx series onwards) is really fun & hassle free provided d chip & ram playin nice w d board. u mite wanna re-seat ya gfx/check bios setting coz it's runin on pci-e 1.1 instead of 2.0 mode.

that 1 just ignore its pcie 2.0 mode just smtg its show 1.1 in gpuz

yup i using 990FX smtg when i messup smtg i just reset the bios if i forget the default value ..got so many blue screen when test oc it..
