QUOTE(pspslim007 @ Feb 12 2014, 07:38 AM) Hello Fellow Amd users , i am thinking whether should i change my FX-4300 to FX-6300 or FX-6350 , because i am using GTX780ti , and my FX-4300 is bottlenecking my GPU which not only let me play on only high settings for BF4 , but i tested using furmark that i only receiving 30++fps , any suggestions ? or is it GTX780ti only can play on high settings ? u can try find a old FX8120.. very good proc also.. if not just get a FX6350.. |

Whats the worst can happen if an oc is failed?
1. Windows wont boot ---> BSOD ---> HDD will corrupt faster Anything else? |

U r still around! Hehe. Ok, noted. i'll be using ssd to play-play with da chip, so the risk of corrupted ssd is lower compared to hdd. If i didnt increase the vcore so much, everything else will be ok right? now still in assembling process, hopefully can settle by this weekend then can start play |

QUOTE(pspslim007 @ Mar 28 2014, 02:08 PM) PD (pliedriver) is fun to play with. u can expect 4.5~4.7/8GHz prime stable, anything higher really depends on:1. chip itself 2. mobo (especially how beefy is d vrm) 3. cooling @ cpu 4. possibly psu TCP 812 is an above average cooler, d only complaint is @ AMD, it's of north-south (top bottom) orientation instead of d preferred east-west orientation. as for cpu/ram/nb oc, d mileage u can expect is around ~4.8GHz cpu, 2400MHz ram, & ~2600MHz nb. keep vcore below 1.5v, vcpu-nb (vimc) below 1.4v, ram wise depends on d sticks u use. for 2400MHz, u wont really need > 1.7v in general. these however were all my findings usin my previous setup (HERE) , they might be diff for yas. Normally 2400mhz is 1.65v.
I still love my Phenom II X6 1100T and FX-8350 very much. |
