Normally 2400mhz is 1.65v.

I still love my Phenom II X6 1100T and FX-8350 very much. smile.gif I have the FX-9590 but that one power hungry la. I keep the fella locked up for now.

second that sir, usually only hynix/samsung are capable of such frequency, timing will determine d volt needed imo. smile.gif

had lotsa fun with thuban & pd, personally i prefer thuban more due to d ipc as well as imc mileage. thumbup.gif

Just completed my new setup with the Thuban. biggrin.gif PD is now on other rig.

Vishera on the other hand, urgghhh. Donno la, the fella no give me the feel like the Thuban.

FX-8350 is Piledriver or Vishera? some site say Vishera but to what I remember it's Piledriver, upgraded from Bulldozer.

Hello Fellow Amd users , i am thinking whether should i change my FX-4300 to FX-6300 or FX-6350 , because i am using GTX780ti , and my FX-4300 is bottlenecking my GPU which not only let me play on only high settings for BF4 , but i tested using furmark that i only receiving 30++fps , any suggestions ? or is it GTX780ti only can play on high settings ?

It is based on the Piledriver architecture but the SoC itself is referred to as Vishera
Just like Bulldozer architecture, but the SoC's name is Zambezi

hi guys,
i recently bought amd fx 4300..then i tried to overclock..
at first it was ok..but now..the speed becoming different between the 4 cores

Core0 @ 4274.3 MHz (19.0x multiplier)
Core1 @ 4274.3 MHz (19.0x multiplier)
Core2 @ 1575.4 MHz (7.0x multiplier)
Core3 @ 1575.4 MHz (7.0x multiplier)

why does this have different? it is supposed to be same clock for every cores..isnt it? if i am not wrong..
plus the cache drops from

L1 @ 14000KB to 96KB
L2 @ 8000KB to 2000KB
L3 @ 8000KB to 4000KB

Updated ur bios to the latest? The core speed flunctuate during doing heavy work or idle?
Tried turning off other energy saving setting in the bios and only use CnQ? hmm.gif

disable c&q, disable turbo core, if there's core leveling option in bios, try to put all cores instead of auto. smile.gif

no one liao i guess bro, playin with pi usually spells moneh (coz tight timing modules not cheap & there's no longer lucky draw in kvr). sad.gif

samsung, hynix can do high freq with lax timing (something AMD might not be able to take advantage of), if ur aiming tight timing some crucial can do 2133 @ 9-9-9. hope this helps bro, i've been out of d business for quite sometimes liao. price wise u mite wanna check whether crucial is available in garage. sale. smile.gif

Take the FX-6350 its much better in gaming than the FX-4300.. The extra cores helps in games like BF4 etc.. thumbup.gif

price diff not huge, more cores might spells higher temp but more is always better if ya cooling can cope with d heat. wink.gif

still play2 with d voltage.. the calibration makes it sky high.. i want to make the voltage flexible with the speed...
not good ram though..

cnq + c1e enabled? try fixed voltage setup 1st, see what d lowest voltage stable for d oc'ed setup. then try usin vid + offset for cnq setup. iirc asus not really that good in cnq setup. iirc my fm2 board d vid keep changin eventhou i've already fixed it in bios. not so sure on am3 as it's been a while since i last owned one. sweat.gif

no harm tryin for d ram bro, 9-10-9 or 9-11-11 for 1866 is possible if d chippies are decent one. wink.gif
