QUOTE(kimonorish @ Apr 28 2012, 02:26 PM) u gotta check whether it's memory or cpu clock is causing d instability. lower either ram divider or cpu multiplier one at a time so that u can find out d culprit. This post has been edited by ah_khoo: May 1 2012, 12:31 AM |

hi guys! its been a while.. now im planning to replace my mobo and proc and ram.. what will stay in my good ol centurion 5 are my ggbyte odin550wtt and gtx275 plus all the hdd.. what would you recommend me to get? the technology is so darn fast and i could not even catch up.. stopped playing since ddr3 came.. so im totally new, and please guide me.
p/s: im more into gaming and if 4 cores doesnt utilize much, i wont mind getting a higher end dual core.. but i believe u guys know better, and would recommend me the best bang for buck setup! thanks! |

Hurrhhhhh maybe a combo of PII X4 960T + Asus M5A97 + DDR3 would do the trick? p/s: im more into gaming and if 4 cores doesnt utilize much, i wont mind getting a higher end dual core.. but i believe u guys know better, and would recommend me the best bang for buck setup! thanks! |

QUOTE(lengchai86 @ May 4 2012, 12:41 AM) when you learn to OC ram,you will become more addicted to OC ram more than OC proc. just my i tried it yesterday, set the speed to 15++ Mhz, 5 minute on window then got BSOD, i use Athlon II X3 435 & Asus M4A77TD Pro mobo , is it true Athlon series only support 1066 & 1333 ram? if i put 1600 ram on it then is it will run only 1333Mhz? |

QUOTE(makaroni @ May 4 2012, 03:36 PM) here is my spec From your spec i think u should have no problem running ur ram at 1600mhz, that speed should be no problem for a rana cpu to run..Processor : AMD Athlon II X3 435 unlock to 4 core Phenom II X4 B35 Mobo : M4A77TD PRO Ram : 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance CL9 + 2x1GB Kingstone value ram GC : Asus HD4670 128 bit Power Supply : Silverstone Strider 500w better if i use only 2x4GB & oc or just use current setting without oc? which is more fast between this 2 setting? my ram speed is 1333Mhz, so is it true i cant use 1600 ram due to limited memory support on Athlon series? Tho ur ram oc maybe hindered by the combination of different rams and ur IMC.. What is ur IMC volt & speed setting during oc btw? |
