try using only the corsair ram. two identical ram is better. diff combination of ram speed and size might be the culprit of instability hmm.gif
try run aida64 memory bench to find which setting (4GbX2 + 1GbX2 VS 4GbX2 OC) has better score
example aida mem bench

IMC speed is cpu-nb speed/ frequency aka NB freq.

the best is try find your ram limit 1st. use lower cpu multiplier. set the HT link near to 2Ghz and below.
set the ram timing at 9-9-9 at 1.6Vdimm. increase the fsb aka HTT step by step.
IMC / cpu-nb speed oso set near to 2Ghz and below. find the highest speed that your ram can go with
timing 9-9-9 @ 1.6Vdimm. good luck rclxms.gif

here is my spec

Processor : AMD Athlon II X3 435 unlock to 4 core Phenom II X4 B35
Mobo : M4A77TD PRO
Ram : 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance CL9 + 2x1GB Kingstone value ram
GC : Asus HD4670 128 bit
Power Supply : Silverstone Strider 500w

better if i use only 2x4GB & oc or just use current setting without oc? which is more fast between this 2 setting?
my ram speed is 1333Mhz, so is it true i cant use 1600 ram due to limited memory support on Athlon series?
*
with all dimm slot occupied, u mite wanna consider runnin d sticks @ 2t. it's hard to run 1t with 4 sticks when freq is at 1600Mhz or above. smile.gif

good. btw you don't need to loose the timing above CL9. no points running 1600 on CL11
default 1333 CL9 @ 1.5Vdimm, perhaps you need to pump vdimm if you wanna run the ram at 1600 CL9.
most ram with good manage to do 1600 CL7 with 1.6Vdimm and below. if you cannot set 1600 CL9 with
lower then 1.6Vdimm, consider you have a not OCable ram edy.. this is where the poison start.

if you really wanna have fun with ram OC, try find 1600Mhz 4GbX2 with CL9 at 1.5V,
or 1600 (CL7, CL8) at 1.5-1.6V

apart of ram OC, you oso can OC the cpu-nb speed a.k.a IMC speed.

look at your cpuz>memory tab, got NB frequency. if you are using non-BE proc,
you need to increase the FSB to increase the cpu-nb speed

try run 1600 CL9-9-9 bro. CL10 not nice at that speed.. even 2133Mhz people run at CL9-10-9 brows.gif
more tight is better.
* tight : 1600 CL7-7-7, CL8-8-8
* loose : 1600 CL9-9-9, CL10-10-10

what is the ram voltage for 1600 CL10 there

i leave ram volatge at auto for 1600 CL10 & its stable, now im running stress for CL9, 1st i try set voltage at 1.55v 3 minute BSOD, raise to 1.6v cant boot to window then lower to 1.53v 1 minutes BSOD too now i try at 1.51v 10 minutes on running stress still stable until now rclxms.gif wanna see its stability for half an hour stress..
now i learn 1 thing from my OC, over voltage is not good, must set the right voltage to make my OC stable

waaa i have to shoot wedding event this morning now at 1.30am still OC my ram, u r rite lengchai86, OC ram is very poison & fun tongue.gif

looks like your ram cannot accept moderate voltage..
most ram with good chip have no problem with 1.65Vdimm at 1600-1800 CL8 brows.gif
try yours with CL8 at lower than 1.55Vdimm nod.gif

ram with good chip can run 2133 CL7 @ 1.65V brows.gif
the lower the voltage at higher speed + tight timing is what everybody want

mybe better if can 1600 CL8 with 1.52-1.52Vdimm brows.gif
after that try CL7, if can set 1600 Cl7 with low voltage (1.52Vdimm) than you ram is superior notworthy.gif

dont know what wrong, any advice?

poison advice : change to other ram. winova xtune 1600CL11 1.5V can set 1600 CL7 @ 1.5XVdimm or 21XX CL9 1.65Vdimm rclxms.gif
or you can try corsair dorminator.

btw don't go over 1.7Vdimm. not suitable for 24/7 sweat.gif
er.. you can try increase your cpu-nb clock. btw you using divider 1600 for the ram or you increase the FSB?
