but honestly... could be there are no plans for Asus MY to bring it in. after all... 3G means need sim card. if no telco wanna tie up... dun think Asus can justify bringing in the model and setting up support for it.

Even it is not tie up with any telco, i willing to subscribe a data plan for it.

for me... TF's unique feature is the transform between netbook and tablet. so far, no other tablets really have this yet.

for me... at this time, i'd just wait for TF201 aka TF2.
*
After TF2 then there will be TF3 or Megatron Transformer..... All i want just a 3G version then everything will be fine already. If i buy a tablet just for leisure in home for movie/music.... Better for me to go for a 60' Big Big Screen TV. Anyway, heard that TF 2 is quad core but still with 1GB RAM only,

well, i think you have better luck just buying it from the sites mentioned earlier... at the rate things are going, Asus MY might not be bringing it in... anyway, no harm dropping them a message on FB and asking them if got plans to bring in or not...

do let us know if and when they reply. smile.gif

call me strange or watever, i still don't see the need of a 3g Tablet if you already have a smartphone. This is my general opinion on tablets. On TF specifically, even more true because u have the ability to just chuck a 3g dongle to it.

After using the TF for 3-4 months, i don't recall any occasion that i was left hanging because the TF doesn't comes with 3g. Either there's a wifi hotspot or i just teether from my phone.

My next tablet is never gonna be a 3g model, unless it is able to replace my phone ... lol

Wifi version may just plug in 3G dongle to surf internet? confirm and sure with it?

If i use my smart phone to support data to it, i will need to bring charger with me all night long...

Having trouble with my battery as well. TF is docked and charger connected to the dock. Full charge, removed charger at 9, never used, Wi-Fi is off, and I find out my dock battery is at 46% now. What the hell sleep.gif

EDIT: Took the suggestion by CyberKewl and installed CPU Spy. Whatcha know? My TF never went into deep sleep. Rebooted and now it does biggrin.gif Thanks CyberKewl.

Do you guys have recommendations for watching 720p MKV movies? I'm running DICE Player Trial and notice lags at some parts.

Firstly, what's your TF model number? Some B7O and above still can't be rooted

Wow sweet idea!

There is a way to use your Android device as a mouse and keyboard. Forgot the name of the app but it was very cool!

Found out Mx Video Player does a much better job! Both better graphics and smoother playback! Not just that, but it's free too! There's just a small Google Adwords at the directory listing, and no ads during playback. There's an ad-free version as well.
