hei guys just got back my TF yesterday. The new lcd does work well no more light bleed issue. The new panel looks more darker on the inside(when not switched on). Not bad the SC at Imbi plaza KL they really did a good job even the battery life issue also gone. i tried playing video 720p(continoues looping) and the battery can last for about 7h 45m(without docking).So for you guys with screen bleed issues you can send the SC at Imbi plaza. The battery issue also can send there according to them there is a patch for the new update that is not included in the update that causes this problem they haven't uploaded on the update yet... so for now have to send in at SC only

oh, i mean compare side by side... dice with MX. but ya... since dice also free for 3 days... i guess i could do it.

Hi there, I want to get myself a tablet and decided that Eee Pad is my cup of tea. I am getting a 4 months used unit at RM1100, without keyboard dock, screen protector and leather case, do you think the price is reasonable?

My colleagues is going to US soon, should i just ask her to get a new unit for me there? Do you have any idea about US street price?

Or should i wait for the TF2 and expect to get about RM1.3K new?

i got mine with 2 month used, no SP, without dock. just everything in the box, included receipt bought with 1499 for RM1149.

i think its reasonable in your case.

my friend all think my TF is brand new bought from shop since it really do look new.

Look around for US price. US and Canada shops are clearing the TF1 stocks quite frequently last 2 weeks. Can get brand new 16GB for <$300 if you're lucky.

Not sure if Asus has international warranty or not though.

Here's one example from Canada. Their site is down ATM, but here's to a discussion thread about the deal (which is over now). They are a well-established retailer, both physical shops and online sales.

There were also other smaller independent shops that had similar offers.

You should be able to find a good deal in US, given that TF2 is expected really soon.

Amazon doesn't have crazy price yet, but they did have a price cut, especially on the dock. Just look around!

dang... bought TF for 1 month only... hope asus update this to ice cream sandwich.

I can't help to notice the keyboard dock kinda different already... I tot Asus say TF1 dock can be use with future TF...

the USB port in the video same location as out current TF dock ..

just hope the new dock got new "look" only and still able to connect with current one

i sent it in on the 4th october. It only took them about 2 weeks to fix it. Their new lcd does solve the screen bleed issue.

was your tablet reset to factory settings or did they just replace the screen without touching your software and/or settings?

They just replace screen and installed some patch file for the battery drain issue. You won't loose any data stored in it.

ok that's good to hear..but 2 weeks..dont know if i can live that long without my TF !
