How do you tell what the tablet battery life is, and what the dock's battery life is? I can only see one percentage in the Settings.

Also, which does the cable charge first, when it is plugged to the dock?

Wow sweet idea!

There is a way to use your Android device as a mouse and keyboard. Forgot the name of the app but it was very cool!

Look for Dual Battery Widget on the Android Market. You'll then notice that it charges both. smile.gif

alright, thank you so much...

how do you guy close all the application?? i found out mine always cant close 1....
if u check your screen left number 3 icon, got alot of apps...
how do u guy close it??
*
No need to close.

That is the Recent Apps bar - if you press Back from the app, it will close. However it will stay in memory because you are more likely to switch back to the app.

Android will only remove an app from memory when it needs to, usually when its memory is full.

There is no point in clearing all apps from memory, because you will just be using battery - especially so if the app has a service, so when you clear the app, it will come back, using battery power to respawn.

So don't use task killers, they are useless!

Note that having an app dormant in memory does not suck battery. Killing an app (and then having it respawn) sucks battery.

Some other apps which are dormant in memory include the Launcher and the Keyboard. If you go from one app to another (through Share) many, many times, through different apps, you may be able to push the Launcher off memory - so when you press Home, it lags a bit because it is trying to respawn Launcher out of nothing.

Sounds like the 4.0.3 OTA also has Sleep Of Death - a widespread problem of the Galaxy Nexus. I didn't realize they were the same thing! Yeah I always found it weird that the TF101 would be off.

I've not encountered the random restarts on the TF101, though - my HTC Desire has random restarts usually when I am pushing a new APK or playing certain games, but not the Sleep Of Death.

No restarts so far. Now let's hope this was a Google AOSP fix since I was getting reboots on my HTC Desire and my boss' stock 4.0.2 Galaxy Nexus.

Did you update to 9.2.1.17?

Also, what is the name of the app that tells you how long your device has been in Deep Sleep, etc? I had it before but somehow it is missing (did Google pull the app from the Market and all devices?)

Ah thanks!

Well, not to jinx it or anything, 9.2.1.17 seems to have fixed it...

any one know can the TFT print screen? how?
*
Yes - go Settings - ASUS customized setting - Screenshot - Capture screenshots by holding the Recent Apps Key.

Or you can press the key above the "6" on the keyboard - it's a dedicated screenshot button!
