QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 10 2011, 08:09 AM) dunno if its actually due to raw power or maybe need to do more work due to large screen size. my bro said it wasn't laggy on his incredible s. i'll try again later today -- see maybe it was a one-off thingy. but seriously, the destroy gunner game is nice! might also be honeycomb lacking of optimization also... i was hoping ICS can sort out our existing issues, like the stuttering portrait mode

I noticed the latest 3.2 update is causing a major battery drain and its not only in the dock, but in the tablet only mode too. at first i thought is some app then apparently in xda forum there are other pple complaining this. They recommended to install a program called CPUSpy to check if your tablet goes into a "deep sleep" state or otherwise. if it doesnt, means theres a problem. To temporarily solve this at the moment, you need to do a reboot to get rid of this issue. Hopefully ASUS is aware of this and will issue a patch to solve this soon. Yeah i tried with M2U... i manage to replicate your problem... maybe it's due to how the web design... but i fix it with rotating the screen... after that you can scroll back like normal...

I would like to recommend an app also, which can help tackle the batterydrain. And I also found this tip on the xda forum : QUOTE For those of you that have a transformer that wont deep sleep whether its on or off the dock, doesnt matter you can get a app for that. its called Auto Airplane Mode, and it puts your transformer in airplane mode each and every time you turn the screen off, i have noticed a huge difference in battery life after installing this app. using Cpuspy my transformer went into deep sleep for 10 mins max a night for the last week. installed Auto Airplane Mode and the transformer goes into deep sleep within a min of turning screen off now. I already had the wifi set to turn off when screen is off and everything, the only thing i did was add this app. There are 2 apps with the same name, you need to get the one from DON : https://market.android.com/developer?pub=DONThis post has been edited by Euro: Oct 11 2011, 06:48 AM

And I also found this tip on the xda forum : There are 2 apps with the same name, you need to get the one from DON : https://market.android.com/developer?pub=DONthe auto airplane app only permanently disables the wifi when you go into airplane mode and then reconnects when not in airplane mode as oppose to normally when you are in airplane mode, then turn it off, the wifi is actually still connected, just that you couldn't use the network while in airplane mode. the deep sleep issue is not solved by this app, whether you turn on the app service and then go into airplane mode, once you lose "deep sleep", you can only recover by doing a full reboot. this is what I noticed so far. I'm still trying to replicate this issue so I can notify ASUS on this. But confirmed that the latest update is causing this problem.

currently on revolver and haven't seen any battery drain yet. However, i do notice from the battery details, sometimes the TF is awake for no reason. I assume it is more likely false reporting as real life battery usage is still very good.
My usage and setting: - wifi auto off 3 minutes after screen off - in screen off mode, it takes about 1-3% for 8 to 16 hours (sometimes in battery details it says TF is awake) - actual usage screen on + wifi on is about 10-13% (rough figures) per hour

The battery doesn't leak when i did not docked with the keyboard if your dock is b50 series (and if not mistaken some b60 series serial), then its possible to be a hardware issue. but did you test out with the mobile docking battery saving mode enabled in the settings > screen section? if it still drains a lot with that (by right over a period of about 7-8 hours it should only drain at max 1-3% of inactivity. if it drains a lot more then its hardware problem. the issue i described can be checked by using the app called CPUSpy and checking whether the OS goes into deep sleep or not. If it doesnt go into deep sleep, the battery will have a massive drain until you reboot the OS to "reset" the state and re-gain deep sleep mode.
