QUOTE(super macgyver @ Jul 28 2006, 10:21 PM) stuck pixel? how u differenciate it with dead pixel? that is call uncomfirming pixel.it can be heal by using a program that change the colour frequently to heal back the uncomfirming pixel.but this progress have to take at least 5 hour to do that.almost 60% of the uncomfirming pixel will be active back and display as normal.

Stuck pixels can be in different colour (green, white, blue....), it's not yet dead and as williamngwl explained it is possible to recover it with 60% percentage.
Dead pixel usually black in colour (means the particular pixel will not be functioning anymore). And the percentage to recover it is 0%

Has anyone here used the X41 tablet? I'm torn between purchasing a tablet PC or a laptop for college use. If I end up with a laptop, I've got my sights set firmly on the IBM Thinkpad X60. A wonderful little machine.

I am using X60s. Will cost you a whopping RM7000 though. I've increased my memory to 1Gig. Overall this machine is excellent. Able to gives you ~8hours battery life (power saving mode). bare in mind though this machine comes with an external DVD COMBO unit and screenie has only 1024x768 reso.

if the screen resolution over 1024x768 then will be hard to read those words ;-)
Im going for X60 in one month, probably with the one which is under special offer.

Can you elaborate more on what the DVD/CDRW combo drive is like? Is it the drive that connects through the X6 Ultrabase? When the time comes around for me to purchase, I'm either picking up the X60 or whatever else is the next flagship IBM laptop

It's not the docking station. It's an external TEAC DVD/CDRW combo. I seldom use this drive though unless i need to install software from CDs. Unlike external floppy disk drive which can run via USB power, this DVD/CDRW unit needs a power source to run it. A word of advise, remember to create 1 set of recovery CDs. It's pre-installed within the HDD but it's better to make another backup via CDs for peace of mind in case your HDD goes kaput You'll roughly need about 7 CDs.
