yup, the hp can detect T42, but when I need to bond them, or transfer file, the connection always failed.

performance wise its definately faster than single core but if we were to use only for web browsing, typing and music listening there wont be much difference between single and dual core.

Btw, anyone of you guys here heard of the battery drain bug issue? My extended battery can only last me 5hours with USB mouse plugged in. With mouse, i can squeeze 8hours of battery life.

I'm using T43 and loving it. Hasn't given any problem. But performance wise, I would say it's very good for business for its stability but if u r a hardcore gamer just get alienware.

what do you mean by bizness, specifically what?
do your power point presentation? run your ERP system? process your ten thousand rows of excel data?

what...?

Business users need good portability to travel with it around, long term reliability, and comofortablity in doing presentation and applications like excel.

Thats true... And at least the ThinkPad is not so heavy until it causes backache! The weight is just right to carry around.. But of course if you are loading that thing for hours on end, then it will break your shoulders lah! laugh.gif

And yups, its excellent for word-processing, PowerPoint, Excel, even running not-too-high performance games such as Championship Manager 2006 as well as playing MP3 for hours on end!
