sustain is a better reel with more gears albeit heavier ( was attracted to the rarenium because of the weight ;190 grams and 5:0 gear ratio, on the 2500 model), fyi the sustain and the new rarenium are made in japan, assembled in malaysia.

Anyways, the new sustains are a solid reel with 10 gears versus the rarenium(6+1SARB) , but i consider the latter an 'upgrade' from the stradic CI4.

i've tried high speed before and found that its hard to handle... might b'cos i'm still not use to it.. anyway, i still prefer low speed.. max 6.4:1

noted. thanks for the tip. I think ratio of 7 should be just fine for noob like me.
would be nice to twicth those bibless and lipless lures for darting actions.

For divers and spoons i think 6 or below would be just nice.
