How did you lose your lip grip to a catfish? Did you manage to recover it?

that catfish fish = jackpot.

you got a few minor mistakes there nia. Once you catch hold of it, you'll be fine.

Try this:
1. Tension knob(that the one right under your star drag) - tightened it to nominal where your spool are unable to move left and right + a little more for security.
2. Your Mag brake set to 10

When you cast, the spool should be resting on the side, rather than straight. I have shared this with you on that day, but i dunno how to elaborate the casting with slightly adjustment

FG boss, broke from leader-braided..i think was the casting form i made.coz i dint release full 90 rotation,jerk a lil at the last release momentum

but, if your arm HURT, then i think may be your setup not proper... sometimes, handle of rod play some role also...

FG knot will not break... its either leader or main line... unless FG knot fail... one of my close friend (no name mentioned) lose his lure due to FG knot fail... so far, my FG knot never fail me...

Basically these are the components. The thumb release is also called clutch


At the point of casting, if like photo above, then it's incorrect. This will cause more CBH. All you need is just rotate you wrist to the left(if you're right hander, vice versa)
