nop i only experienced the action koyak coz the hook is not heavy enough...this is especially true for the 12cm abu tormentor and the 12cm skitter pop.

the lightest lure i'm comfortable to use on my bc is 7g and the heaviest i have is 22g and most of those i'm buying now is between 9g-12g. So far still okay i guess.

You have to enter from a housing area then through a rubber estate, from here the trek consider extreme because it is a muddy trek.
By the way, its not fence up.

I am using size 4 with my 7cm-9cm lures. bigger than that, im using normal 1/0 hooks with double split ring.

cant find 1/0 single lure hooks. sad.gif

Size 4 for 7~9cm lures, kinda small ler...

Seek for WaterLand hooks(by cultiva), largest they have is 4/0 if not mistaken. But pricey la.. 7pcs for 20buckaroo~

Just back from Kuala Gula yesterday. A lot of gelama, too windy.

Asking sifus here: can recommend / teach what type of lure / rapala suitable for this type of fishing, around mangrove? Shiny? Color?

Wanna try next time. Less than RM100 one. Cheap one also fine.

Not gelama lah bro, other type of fish. I just said that I only catch gelama on that day blink.gif

Any sample that can catch more that 2-3 types of fish? That suitable with mangrove area?
