Morning guese... my whole body are aching from low set and high reps week... today is arms day... below are the breakdown of a typical high reps week..

Biceps

Alternete dumbells curl- 3 warms - 3sets x 20 reps
Preacher curls- 3sets x 20 reps
Cable curls- 3sets x 20 reps

Triceps

Rope pushdowns- 3 warms - 3sets x 20 reps
Overhead dumbell extension- 3sets x 20 reps
Cambered bar pushdowns - 3sets x 20 reps
Question: have you guys ever felt like the muscles wanted to snap when on a high reps low rest time mode?... when im on preacher curls i felt like the biceps will snap anytime...farking scary brah...

Got some "advice" today while doing shoulders.

Don't do Military press and Press behind neck,it will screw up your rotator cuff.

Then the 3 scrawny kids proceeded to do their version of the Arnold press, I almost thought they would dislocate their shoulders the way they were violently rotating the dumbbells.

Military press is to the front:

BTN:

Main difference between these 2 is the use of different stabilizer muscles.

This is a very common misconception, doing BTN press will screw your rotator cuff.

THANK GOD ! I THOUGHT WTF IS WRONG WITH MY PC. Basically, Arnold Press and DB shoulder press, the difference is that, shoulder press , u go only in one direction; UP. Arnold press, u change your position from a hammer grip to a shoulder press position when going up. But of course, CONTROLLED MOVEMENT.

my rotator cuff is an issue for me, but every now and again I do proceed with BTN exercises, however, ONLY to the base of my head, not any lower

Food + more food = growth. Oh and you have to lift weights too.

BTN presses have a higher chance of screwing shoulders but there are some freaks with better shoulder girdle flexibility who can take it. Like... Kevin Levrone doing 4 plates per side on the Smith. =(
