QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 26 2011, 09:40 PM) Definitely and the modem gets warm /slight hot very fast. It will drain average at least 10-20% your notebook battery every hour depending on how strong /weak the 3G signals. I use the YES HUddle - is even worse - it gets HOT, I mean really HOT just an hour using it - the YES huddle can last only 5 hours maybe we should put extend usb cable for the Modem instead direct to usbport??This post has been edited by evilpuppy: Jun 26 2011, 10:54 PM |

I got my yesterday.
I have encountered one particular nasty bug with bluetooth. After 1 successful file transfered from my SGS, all subsequent transfer failed. No matter how i tried, even removing the profile and rescan the bluetooth device. Very interesting. Any one have any idea with this? Beside buggy bluetooth file transfer, others thing seems fine so far. |

Add my name in the list pls. Even though I bought it for my mom, I'm still maintaining it and will use it from time to time.
My experience after using the iconia for 3 days, Tablets are something that I can live without, my android phone has everything I need (schedule, contacts, occasional browsing on the go). Even though I work in IT, I don't go on the internet or turn on the computer that much outside of the office so after a while I don't have any use for the tablet at home. I still depend more on my notebook for docs, browsing and (important!) using Garmin Mapsource. Until I can edit and manage GPS files on Android, I don't see myself using the tablet that much. Good thing I didn't buy it for myself, if not it would be a waste of my money. Why I chose iconia over the rest? Primarily for the USB port, so that my mom can download photos from her digital camera without having to ask us to do it for her, and be able to view those photos without having to learn how to use a PC/notebook. I think tablets are very user friendly for older people, just touch what you want from a visual menu. If I were to get a tablet for myself (which won't happen in the near future), I would still chose iconia due to the same reasons benny888 listed out previously. |

ok, found the root cause of my bluetooth file transfer woe. Looks like HC is the culprit blocking the .apk file from transfering thru. bluetooth.
