Anyone tried to hook up a digital camera to the Iconia yet? I tried it last weekend, it doesn't seem to recognize a Fujifilm camera. Thumbdrive is detected just fine.
Will try again once I've updated to 3.1. |

QUOTE(HarrionX @ Jul 11 2011, 10:57 AM) I do not care enuf to use stylus but here some insight from benny888QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 30 2011, 10:50 AM) Your finger is better than even the best stylus eg I finger good quality expensive about rm120. But still loses out to own finger. You want to buy cheap don't bother just waste money I have bought several type pen stylus from rm 30 to rm120 all waste money only. Nothing beats the natural response of own fingers |

exkaizen, the material looks ok to me but I'm not a fussy guy. For sure it doesn't look super-duper leather expensive, but it doesn't look like a low quality product. All the holes are where they're supposed to be to allow access to the device's ports and buttons.
It has a nice magnet lock to keep the cover in place when closed. |

QUOTE(fazryle @ Jul 11 2011, 11:41 AM) Custom roms are cooked up according to the taste of the creator. Usually it is more bloated but that is not always the case. You have to read the description of the rom to know more about that. They have the same base so to say which one is smoother or if one is smoother than other you have to personally test it out or ask around the users. If you ask me then I would say that custom roms which are heavily customized may prove to be more buggy than the stock. But please do keep in mind sometimes its the exact opposite. It depends from rom to rom so the only way to know which one is smooth just try it out. Its not that hard to have custom rom running on your tab, it takes less than 30 minutes, and then if you don't like it just revert back to your stock. |

No doubt our fingers are better.
But i need to draw things at my Iconia =D (work issue. not entertainment) sketching is quite important~ thus finger enough wouldn't do the trick at its best |

new OTA update 4.010.30, update from Acer_A500_4.010.22_COM_GEN1. Much smoother for me, since i never wipe apps or factory reset since day 1 with all updates install continuously.
FYI, the .22 was downloaded from XDA. Meaning manual update does not broke the OTA updates (yet) which most asked/afraid. |

Thumb Keyboard Also using Thumb keyboard now, 3 layouts also. Used Hacker Keyboard b4, but its become lag. The arrow keys is the main reason to choose my keyboard, still too difficult to put the cursor exactly the place in a sentence/word. |
