Owh snap. I just flashed the 1.9.30 version lol.

Is 4-Way Reboot MOD included in 1.9.30? Coz I don't see that menu coming out after pressing "reboot".

I am still on Stock Hboot, never try CM7 or what every Hboot.

So which file do I need to download n install first in order to install the rom?

Mind to guide?

personally, i've switched to cm7/r2 hboot. i do suggest you to change to that as well since it gives you a larger partition of internal memory. you can always flash the downgrade.img if you ever feel like going back to stock hboot.

regarding your qs, go to this link, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...138&postcount=1
there's a download link for stock hboot. apparently, its for coolsensation v3. the latest version is v4, im not sure whether has coolexe come up with a flashable zip for the stock hboot users or not. you might want to ask around in his thread. biggrin.gif

Hi bro, first off, read the 1st page..tons of info there and tips to save battery power!

Housing I not sure, never hear of people change housing for this phone.

idefense is not bad..application takes a little patience but after long time it will start to turn yellowish..I recommend Casemate tough which I'm using..Very sturdy case, drop phone also no damage..

Yes can unroot.

Then you aren't searching hard enough.

http://revolutionary.io/

Use this to S-OFF.

Look for Fastboot Commander and use that during Fastboot mode on your phone (The red mode) Which shows FASTBOOT USB something then on the Fastboot Commander (PC), place your Cm7 image, flash. Done, do not forget to reflash+wipe or you will get bootloop.

If encounter problems, SEARCH. If cannot find on XDA, look @ our first few pages. If it's not there, then only post.

TQ.

My transfer rate it kinda slow la..about <2MB/s..but I don't remember it being faster in Froyo also..

Cis, that's even easier !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or

Just follow the vid Step 4 and then
use what I said earlier about FastBoot.
Please note there's a particular step to install CM7 hboot.
You need to wipe and then flash a CM7 hboot supported ROM, run it once, go back to bootloader, fastboot mode, flash CM7 hboot, go to recovery, reflash the same ROM again, then it should work (maybe need to wipe before reflashing) I forgot the steps but tinker around, a mistake can cause bootloop btw so yeah, just undo and go back to default hboot should allow you to boot if you really stuck.
since your hboot is so old, you can use the older methods (like mine)

Um, my speed after increasing the something from 128kb to 2mb speed went to optimum (around 3.5MB/s on Froyo Sense) but on GB (any) my speed is 750kb/s and is unaffected by the app above sad.gif.
That's how bloody slow it was.

ok, i am in need of some serious help here...

was using CM7.1 RC1 all the while and went to Nightly 222 today, things turned out well until i did a restart abt an hour ago...

the SD card cannot be read suddenly, all apps in SD card cannot be opened... i thought it was juz another problem with the ROM and went to recovery to nandroid restore back... turns out, RA recovery cannot mount the SD card at all...

i ve done a wipe before attempting to restore, it rebooted fine, but the startup process FC...

so right now i am stuck in the middle of nowhere... can't restore, can't flash a new ROM, RUU FroYo couldn't access the phone at all... i can only access FastBoot and HBoot... how can i get back to flash a ROM? even RUU is fine...

gg you. Doesn't it ever occured to you RC1 is a very very very old build? 222 is already using newer hboot, etc etc a lot of changes.

Have you tried removing and reslotting the SD and go bootloader, fastboot, change your hboot? perhaps you might have gotten yourself a partial bricking.

Wait. Refer to red.
Yep. You kena brick liao. Same case as me but mine was trying restoring a ROM issue with different Recovery.

Anyway, refer to 2nd or 3rd page where you type something in command prompt smile.gif Enjoy. Relax.

Last time I also panicked.

Bro sounds like your sd card is corrupted..Need reformat it again and transfer rom zip file or backup file and reflash in recovery..

BTW can your computer recognize your sd card?
