Guys I'm having a big problem now. I don't know why after I cleared the Media Storage menu (Applications > Manage applications > Media Storage) all my album arts (including album arts of the default preinstalled free songs) disappeared!

Now even if I add other songs from my PC (those which are already tagged by my iTunes and do show the album arts in my PC) no long show any album arts in my Desire. It seems like my Desire is unable to "scan" or "detect" the image of the album art. If my songs are tagged wrongly then why those preinstalled free songs also don't show any album arts.

Help!

I'm clueless. I can still play the songs and all but no display art. Just a blank cover with the green colour music logo. How lame.

Just a quick question. Which MIUI is better? XJ or the others. And for the others, which is the best? I don't know which to download. Australia or British.

May I know why AU? I'm using XJ now. Very stable.

Hi. I just need to clarify something. I've already partitioned my SD into EXT2 and FAT32. And also have already installed MIUI. But my A2SD+ in MIUI shows zero MB. I partitioned 300 MB for my EXT2. So I run

A2SD+ does show value now, however, as I run a2sd zipalign and a2sd cachesd my available space progressively gets lower even before installing any applications (total space still shows 300MB) . So instead of having 300 MB for my "internal space" / available space I have approximately half of it now. Is that normal?

Yeah, I wipe clean before installing XJ. And I also did a2sd reinstall. I think that command has taken in the Dalvik. That's why the size of EXT2 is reduced.

I think that GPS thing uses 3G. My MIUI XJ automatically turns on my data plan I guess coz I think I saw that "H" icon above. How do I turn this off so that I can use Papago for free even with GPS tracking on?



After using Papago my 2G/3G went up to 402 KB today. This month itself I'd already used 1.17 MB. No wonder my credit went down crazily.

Is it possible to "turn this off" and use Papago free as it's claimed to be. Or "free" here is merely the maps but not when using coz 3G is required? Help~

Guys another question. If I set my event to "All day" event and set the reminder at 10 minutes, will my alarm remind me at 11.50 PM before the "All day" date?

However my "default time" is set to 8 a.m for "all day", so a 10 min reminder only reminds me at 7:50 a.m on the date I set on. How do I fix this to 11:50 p.m the day before for "all day"?

I sync my Google Calendar to Facebook birthday and everything is set to "all day" by default in my Google Calendar. After I sync to my Desire, everything is set to "all day" too. So I don't want to trouble myself to change all the birthday events to 12 a.m - something2 in order to get an 11.50 a.m reminder.

Any solution guys? T_T

I don't use any external application. Just the calendar application in MIUI XJ which can be sync with Google Calendar. So this is what happened:

When I set my event to "all day" (I do not set from and to) and a 10 min reminder on Oct 8, the alarm only starts at 7.50 a.m on Oct 8. So I assume if we set to "all day" the calendar thinks in a way that our event should start at 8 a.m on Oct 8, not like what we think which should be at 12 a.m on Oct 8.

Since when we set to "all day" event we do not have precise time for our event to start. For us, an "all day" would've been thought to start at 12 a.m on Oct 8 and ends at 12 a.m Oct 9 right? But my calendar doesn't think that way. Do you understand?

I want my "all day" to have a reminder at 11.50 p.m on Oct 7 when 10 min reminder is set on Oct 8. Is that possible? Why not now you make a try, set an "all day" event and a 10 min reminder on Oct 9. See what time does your HP remind you. For mine it will be 7.10 a.m on Oct 9.

I'm using MIUI XJ. Is this some kind of a bug? Yeah, if I set it From Oct 8, 12:00 a.m, To (any time) with a 10 min reminder, my alarm works correctly at 11.50 a.m on Oct 7. This alarm simply doesn't work correctly when I set to "all day" event. It would've been such a tedious job to set one by one for each birthday event since I have like 200 contacts? T_T

I just want "all day" to be 12 a.m so that I don't have to edit one by one to set From and To. The problem with syncing to Facebook is that it sets everything to "all day". My calendar events are cluttered with birthdays only lol. I want to be the first to wish my friends haa lol. Thank you so much ya!

I flashed Cynagonen last time and didn't really like the interface, so I switched to MIUI and everything's looking good

I don't know if you guys notice this. Whenever you flash MIUI, the data/2G/3G, Rotate, and GPS options will automatically be on. Since data/2G/3G is on, so incur charges will occur and eat up your credit. No matter how fast you quickly slide down the notification to off data/2G/3G after flashing, some data will still be charged although it's only a few kb. How do we avoid this?

What is APN? Have you checked your credit?

I never know that data/2G/3G will give huge impact to my credit. So after I made a full flash, I didn't care to turn it off. I simply browse around the options (normal things you do when you first flash a custom ROM). Then when I check on Data Monitor option, this comes out. 8.02 KB



That's when I quickly rushed to check my credit and to my surprise credit already RM 0.71

This is the second case of me having a decrease in the number of money unintentionally. First case was with the GPS, I ter on Auto GPS Positioning and was charged really a lot without realizing.
