If Nokia wants to hear another Maemo/MeeGo user comment perhaps I need to write a long email expressing what I expect from their OS
*
If you were there the other day, probably you will be interested to hear how Nokia escalate views/ideas/criticism back to their HQ. I don't think your emails will make it there unless you wait for Elop's outside of their HQ in Finland. I won't disclose but also not too surprise by the lack of authority possess by Nokia Malaysia. As a matter of fact, we do not have direct contact with Nokia Malaysia, only through their media agency.

Thanks for your answer.
If N9 proves to be a success, it make no sense for Nokia not to continue with the OS, real MeeGo or not.

Only those who are unique enough to experience Maemo will have the slightest idea on what to expect. I don't really see what makes MeeGo so interesting. I don't even know know what Maemo is like in the past. Comment for what?

If you have idea, why not voice it out? Seem like only Andy bring along his balls on the very Friday.

I do give them my ideas that day. Yes, Im the annoyingly loud malay guy sitting beside Andy on that night laugh.gif

Still I agree with Hexpheonix. If Nokia really put emphasize on the core app experience, plus promising strong support for the platform, I reckon that it'll do well. And by core app experience, I mean, not 3rd party ones, just the OS itself. The number of apps available will be catered by the community no doubts bout it. Its not about the quantity, its the quality of apps available.

It's built-in, as explained in the previous meeting with Nokia.

Some of them publicly said they dumped their phone to their relatives.
This doesn't send a good message to other users who are using that particular device.
Get free phone at least keep it & use yourself.

Talking about dumping device some of the longest N900 users have started looking for replacing their device.Highly likely they are going for green robot team. There's more customers lost by Nokia...
