Hello guys,
Reciving my Dv6 on 2molo.
Is there anything i need to do before I install every pc games i have and Adobe Design Premium???
Sorry, I am a PC noob.
Hopefully some1 can guide me a little bit, thanks.

1. Put the HP Coolsense to coolest mode.
2. Change closing the lid to do nothing and install antivirus.
3. Do the steps to make your boot time faster.
4. Install all the games and have fun!!!

Hmm...I am a dv6 user (future) and there is one thing really bothering me right now is:
I've ordered the HP dv6-6114x (package with headphone) on 14/6/2011, and the status order for today is (Production), it appears the plan ship date is 26 September 2011 and delivery date is 30-Sep-2011...damn~!!! Izzit a normal thing for HP to take so long time to get everyone's orders done? or I'm in a special case.?
REALLY NID HELP FROM THOSE WHO BEFORE ME~
Your reply will be highly appreciated~!

-..-my status progression day by day quite normal, nvr appear something ridiculous before,
but what i can advise is if you dint get anything after 14 days, just call up and fxxk them and ask for refund,
no point to purchase online if have to wait more then a month~

Do you still have BSOD or system crash?
Regarding the CMOS problem, if you have a spare CR2032 battery, you could try to replace the battery on the motherboard to see if that resolve your CMOS problem.
If it doesn't, I afraid it's a hardware problem. Bring it back to your dealer or the service center and demand service or 1 to 1 exchange (depends on how good you argue).
