actually you can call the CS to cancel, if they don't offer you anything then go ahead cancel it. They will then suspend your cc, you don't cut it first. Around 1 week later, their cancellation dept will call you again, by this time they will most likely offer you the retention offer.

cc market is too competitive now, so many banks are trying to expand market share

i want to cancel it bcoz of the GST too..
do i need to clear off the credits in it first before i call the CS to cancel it?
or can i clear it off after cancelling it?

if your outstanding not yet due, you can cancel first, pay when it is due.

For the petrol BHP, it can be earn for 5% cash back and smart cash which is using UOB one card to pump petrol, however, what happen if I pump other petrol (Shell, Petronas), it will be 5% cash back only right??

Besides, I have notice that PADINI shop that they have using UOB terminal, is this mean that it can be earn for smart cash as well? 5% smart cash also?? because I have checked with wedsite for smart cash, there is no any smart cash detail related to this shop, maybe something detail I was mistake, anyone can confirm this??

No smart cash at Padini oh? but their terminal is UOB and the receipt of behind has showed about smart cash.

I through there can be earn for smart cash if swipe with the UOB terminal all the time.

damn, just read that CB only applicable for GSC on the counter. Don't really queue for tickets nowadays and I have both OCBC and Maybank2card now.

just a sharing with you guyz, today i call to cancel my UOB one card and stated due to GST, UOB offer me 5trxn of any amount or 1 trxn of RM100 within 30days and they will compensate the RM50 GST in 6-8weeks time from the trxn.

Usually we pay gst after 12 months use or 1st month. Because it stated in my first month bill. Tq

First GST should occur right after your card is approved, so it may appear on the first or second month of bill.

Anyway, the Lady's Platinum Card seem Useless to ME coz I Neither a Fashion Bug nor Branded Chaser...
