Yes, agreed. I was concerned that the UOB KL didnt receive my printed online application form & supporting docs in the mail because of the high probability of identity theft to apply for things I would never apply unknowingly. I got to admit though , the KL CS surprised me further by calling me to follow up on my cc application, that's how i knew they never receive my mail. I got the new application forms from them through fax to fill in again and fax them back - this came in handy since i get to keep the original form.
That's a first i suppose for a first time customer who can only meet the min annual income requirement - usually banks go for the customers with high annual income requirement, to gain the most profitable business.

This is from personal experience but i could be wrong also.
My Own Experince with UOB:
Early this year, I tried to apply UOB Credit Card(walk-in), I submit all my Income Document to the bank officer... and wait for verification (call)
from them. After a month later, I call their Customer Sevices to check on Application's Status, after not received a call/ letter from them.
The CS told me that somehow their have lost my income document & due to insufficient Document the can not process my application...
can you believe it or not

until now still waiting their acknowledgement letter (credit card application)
Such of a Good Services from UOB...
(myself now own 6 credit cards from different bank none of them got this Lousy Experince like UOB)
