Am I able to watch this mytv if I live in Temerloh?

Point your antenna towards Gunong Ulu Kali (Genting Highlands) - Central Western Pahang is covered by that site. As it is some distance from Temerloh you'll find that outdoor antenna provides best reception.

I'm using the same box, it's enough to get all 11 tv channels n 4 radio channels.. but I'm using a different antenna. (Yakaki 'helicopter' antenna, bought in Lazada).

Someone mentioned even the cheapo antennas at giant/tesco can get the digital broadcast.. Depends on user location n distance I supposed..

I recently bought the JP-5E + coaxial cable via lazada, it works as well.

The key consideration is that whether you stay in a landed home or apartment. Since Putra Height is quite far away, you may need an outdoor antenna if you stay in a low-rise house. Just buy a cheap indoor antenna from hypermarket or hardware store to test it out. If it is not workable than you need to install an outdoor antenna.

MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd, the company spearheading the national digital terrestrial television (DTT) rollout, will waive fees for free-to-air (FTA) broadcasters until June next year as it revises its business model.

CEO Michael Chan confirms in an interview that FTA broadcasters will not be charged transmission fees until the analogue switch-off (ASO) in June 2018, which is when Malaysia will complete its DTT migration by terminating analogue transmission.

If that's the case, broadcasters should transmit their programmes in HD format.

“We can no longer go to the market and expect them to pay RM12 million or RM25 million per channel. That is not going to happen anymore,” says Chan. “We are looking to bring that down to between RM8 million and RM18 million.”

............HD broadcast 18 millions in today economy situation? bye.gif

At present, it has completed 24 out of the 60 transmission towers needed nationwide. It aims to set up another 26 towers by year end and the remaining 10 by the first quarter of next year.

-.- It took mytv 2014 - 2017 just for 24 towers........and now the guy is telling us it will setup another 26 towers within 6 months? doh.gif

Since 2014, MYTV only installs DTT equipment to the primary (main/big) transmitter towers. The rest of 26 towers are repeaters, which is to relay signals to those black spots area, which might be blocked by something such as hills. Setting up signal repeaters is faster than setting up main transmitter of course.
