I'm using the same box, it's enough to get all 11 tv channels n 4 radio channels.. but I'm using a different antenna. (Yakaki 'helicopter' antenna, bought in Lazada).

Someone mentioned even the cheapo antennas at giant/tesco can get the digital broadcast.. Depends on user location n distance I supposed..

I recently bought the JP-5E + coaxial cable via lazada, it works as well.

Hey guys. My last post was in 2017, and the K2 box still works till now. Just had to replace the kaput stupid 'helicopter' indoor antenna ±RM50 bought last year.. with a cheapo RM12 flat indoor antenna (with booster) that I bought recently via Shopee.

By the way, anyone has ever updated this ancient K2 box, or found the latest firmware online? If there's not much difference, then I'll just remain at the stock firmware.

Me too. Earlier wasn't able to display the subs, idk why but now I guess we're in the same boat. The subs main² sembunyik pulak haha

You sure the show you watch has soft subtitle in the first place?  hmm.gif
You can check by comparing TV1 SD / TV2 SD with HD version.
If SD version has subtitle, check if the HD version can display the subtitle or not.

Problem that I face, sometimes the TV become no sound. Probably the problem with the CRT speakers or the decoder 🙄

Perhaps it's the tv? I did try to connect to an old tv prior getting a new hdmi cable and no sound issue encountered.

Anyway, I have came across 2x prompts of Software Update on my box whenever I leave it overnight during bedtime. When I selected OK, it reboots to a blue background screen with a "OTA Upgrade" and underneath it is the "OTA searching 4xx M, 0%" which then goes all the way up to xxx M 100% and "Error update", it reboots itself back into the channel.

Previously, there was once it went under the "OAD Update" instead. Over-the-Air Download? I'm certain this model doesn't support a USB wifi dongle, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
