the android and tuner box combo sounds tempting but only 1 GB RAM and 8gb Rom.

If got more ram and memory can consider.

So, which one are you currently using?
*
Try this instead:
Kii Pro
Android 5.1
2GB ram
16GB rom
DVB-T2/S2 (T2 for MYTV, S2 for "tembak burung - yes CCCAM and OSCAM supported")

Currently I'm using this device.
Yes it's quite pricey, but worth it for Live + Android.

Additional note:
I'm using custom Android ROM for better experience. But the stock LiveTV app still crappy in terms its UI.
Malaysk's Android 5.1 for Kii Pro

Eventually if experienced or want to live in the edge you can try LibreElec OS (basically KODI OS) and use TVHeadend add on to scan live TV:
LibreElec 8.0 for Ki Plus / Kii Pro
Only problem is that some users report that internal DVB-T2 failed to scan, have to use external USB tuner to scan first then use internal one.
Haven't tried the latest version, I will try during semester break.

There's also Vitmod OS which unfortunately is supported by Russians so very hard to understand the instructions in their forum.

Anyone know what is the frequency used for all MyTV channels?
I need to fine tuning to scan the channels.
If able, try to give specific config for that frequency...

There is no config. Where is your location?
*
I'm trying to set up DVB-T2 in TVHeadend on LibreElec which required a very specific config...

I'm living in Kepala Batas, Penang BTW.

In the Delivery System settings, did you see to DVB-T2 apart from DVB-T?
*
Actually that is the picture took from the internet.

But yes, there is DVB-T2 option as I already tried the earlier version of LibreElec.

However users reported the internal turner fail to scan (but can still watch after scan with external tuner).

I will try the flashing latest version during the semester break...

Thanks everyone, I managed set up live TV by using TVHeadend.

It appears that LibreElec on KII Pro cannot scan MYTV channels by using AUTO configurations. So here is my settings:

@exkaizen, is there any way how to add channel logo from TVHeadend?

Is it just me that all Media Prima channels (TV3, NTV7, 8TV, TV9) display in crappy 24 fps?

TV1, TV2 and Al-Hijrah can get running 50 fps smooth...

However Kodi running LibreElec showed all channels running 50 fps and my TV automatically switched to 1080p 50Hz...

Thanks but still not a complete epg with details of channel like description.Maybe soon they will update them.

But does all channel number change to 1-10 ? not the old days 101 , 102 ?
How do I set the channel to our prefer number ? like RTM sport HD to channel number 4 rather than 10 ?
*
Disable LCN from your TV/STB settings and do another rescan.
After finished, go to channel manager and you arrange from there.

My condolences......

Those who live near Thailand, Singapore and Brunei (me?) still can get spillover signal.....at least the decoder will not be sitting collecting dust....

But brunei channels kinda....... sweat.gif  ......

Kinda worth for RM300
1. Dual DVB-T2/S2 tuners
2. Dual boot Linux + Android
3. 4k capable

Later I might use this box for "shooting birds".
Too bad my box is earlier revisions is without Widevine L1, so no 4k Netflix. The latest revision however come with L1 and gigabit ethernet. Still it is perfect for a smart TV converter.

Recently just bought DVB-T2 box, it able to search all 13 channel. However, here is the thing, the number shown are like 101 is TV3HD, 102 is RTMHD, try to go program edit, to make it like 001 is TV1, 002 is TV2, 003 is TV3... but, fail to do.
Not sure is TVBOX function or need update the firmware. By the way, anyone have any firmware site for upgrade?
*
For my TVBox, you need to go to settings and DISABLE "LCN".
The rescan the channels again. After that you can manually edit channel number.

4k broadcasting is really a joke if you ever test MYTV signal reception in Sarawak, especially my area at Sibu. Combo box some more? ASTRO and MYTV cooperate in the future har?
*
Maybe MyFreeview + NJOI collaborations?
So what's with the WiFi?
Got built-in home entertainment system?
