After exceeding 250HTT, u will need 3x HTT. If 2650 @ 166mhz vs 2360 @ 230++ mhz, the 2360 win for sure . U cant let ur ram bottleneck ur proc speed. I can go till 345HTT stable but my ram running at divider 2:1 . It slower den 331HTT which giv me 2.65ghz with 217fsb on ram.

Hey guys, I'm not fimiliar with S754 and I am building a Semprom64 for my little sister. I would like a mobo with build in VGA and sound because she is just 6 yrs old and will be using for some educational softwares. Any idea which mobo is good? Thanks.

For RM370, I think it's better to get Abit NF8 for some ~RM300, use the rest to buy a 2nd hand vga card. (GF4MX maybe?)

cyclone, i'm now only able to do at 2340 (292httx8) @ ram 234mhz stable from cpuz, but when i run memtest it showed 242mhz in stead of 234mhz?

i cant go higher as i think my d43 max out at 242mhz 3-4-4-10 @ 2.8v at memtest, i'm using 166 divider, i tried run 133 divider but also the max htt will be 295htt dunno y, then better swith to 166 divider

cyclone, i found my system restart slower after OC, when restart hv to wait for a while, if shut down n turn on no pro, did u face the same thing? now my volt is like urs, only vdimm n vdimm ref is adjusted to max...

i now enable system bios cacheable, i heard it'll lead to system unstable but faster, how should i test it? use memtest or cpu test?

MSI K8MM-V is just nice.... I'm using it on my 2nd rig/sis' rig. I bought it for RM230 last time.

i do find restart problem where it detact the IDE devices, weird.
Using Asrock 1689, well, i think it can be stable at HTT270 but i am running HTT250 with RAM speed at DDR400

weird problem, since this board don't have AGP and PCI locked, when running on HTT270 i can see some aritifact, lolz, usually didn't, unsure it is nVidia 78.01 or not

yalor, even nf8 also when restart it my liteon combo always running for bout 10-20s before start, is the lock cant be trusted?

295 Mhz X 8 = 2360 Mhz 2.36 gig from 1.6 gig = 760 mhz increase = 47.5 % increase after o/c

HT set to 3,using ddr 333 set from ddr 300....
so memory instead of 200 mhz..running at 295 Mhz...

Ht X 3 = 295* 3 =885 instead of stock 800 mhz bus..

running stable....

Vdimm stock.....Vcore also stock....AGP clock also stock..all running stock


i did set to 300 getting 2.4 gig from 1.6 gig....can boot.....windows got registry error.....so i set till 295 never bother 296 till 299...

can see windows performance increase very dramatically...

Oh ya...i forget something. I see u guys hardly break 300HTT mayb becoz of the pci/agp lock thingy. Some mobo came with Pci lock, but SATA Pci clock wasnt lock. If so u will end up sumwhere below 270HTT.

My S64 was running under no CDrom and floopy on board. My OS is in my HDD, and i juz install the driver when i plug on my S64. Btw for me, with 2800+ ,my HTT is max at 345 and HTT Ratio is 3 which make it 1035mhz. If i running on a 2500+ sempron with 7x multiplier i can hit around 390-400 HTT with ratio 2x but vcore around 1.7v. I gonna go shop for 3100+ few more days.

I hit 339HTT without vcore adjustment. Higher den dat i need to up abit . I will try up my HTT voltage n nf3 voltage to max n c how high i can go.
