you see right...my asus mobo max fsb 300 only

so i juzt set the HT from 4 to 3...set the ddr ram from 400 to 333 then the timing all auto.....

then i manually set the fsb to 295...

then i got 2.36 gig

is there other way?

Abit NF8 max at 450 HTT which is high enuff .

My fsb:dram is 3:2 for 332HTT. Above that my ram pulling me off. Need 2:1 divider. I m using crucial ram. Not ballastix.

btw wat is ur stepping? I tried both 0528UPMW and 0528CPCW. And CPCW is the 1 giving me 2.7ghz at 1.45vcore which is default for NF8.

The stepping is on the proc itself.

hmm..the problem is that i cant set the timings to 2T..if i can set that, i'll jump right into it...

lolz...i dun think so la..cause processor OC capability varies between processors..even processors with the same stepping might not haf equal performance...

but if i go 289x8.0, i gotta use 133 devider

yup, even with same stepping doent mean they are equal. Btw urs is BPCW and that 2500 is BPBW. The 3rd alphabert is the grade of the material they use. Grade A is the best folo up by B and C. M is a mixture . Any another alphabert other this , juz ignore it.

My vcore is adjustable from bios 1. It hardly find mobo without that option. Do u try flash to latest bios de? Different chip have different potential. U like buying jackpot when buying the proc. Even with same stepping , they cant be identical in OC potential.
