Talk about sitters,i hope you watched the chelsea game at stamford bridge doh.gif

Exactly my point like u said.Nobody would let quality go on a cheap.

He is past his best.Better to let the youth take over.I doubt he features in first team plan.

Btw,the maxi for aguero thing was a joke.I didnt know you took it seriously.

Ngog,Babel all had potential and scored important goals for us especially against united.

Keane was a proven scorer before he came here but i swear i dont know wad happened to him.

My guess is maxi will be gone before the start of 2012-2013 season latest.
*
Who of Maxi quality would willing to sit out on bench? I guess not much especially when we are not even in any Euro competition. Let's not be picky when it comes to squad player. It's not like he is going to be in first team week in week out anyway. We need his experience, quality to improve the depth of our squad. Unless we sign someone who is at least as good as he is, I see no point of letting him go. smile.gif

The possibility of us signing Aguero is close to 0 and without CL, it makes it even harder to lure him here. biggrin.gif

I like your optimism mate. The only reason i want aguero is because he said he is a liverpool fan.

I admit i m believing in the 'aguero'hype.

However, realistically real madrid, man city and chelsea are above us.

BUT....If he is still a liverpool fan, then it overrides all of the above.

Damn, you reminded me of someone else who was also from Atletico. laugh.gif

Anyway on Maxi, I think he is quite a decent player even though he might be off his prime. To me, he is an exact replacement for Benayoun. Both of them always at the right spot at the right time to score those 'cap ayam' goals. Doesn't have much speed left but his passes/crosses are still pretty good especially against teams that normally park the bus.

positioning bro positioning.

players like maxi are virtually invisible if our midfield doesnt control the game.

i believe whoever which team sign, the player might not fit in the system/team

look at Torres , Carroll and Berba now

luckily, Suarez and Miereless is a Hit with us, lets hope Henderson will be another Alonso in the making

i dont really think we need left back.
i think johnson done a pretty decent job on the left. and kelly will get more playing time. plus we have jack robinson, a good back up.

I dont think there is a need to replace Skrtel , he played all the league games last season and hardly make any big mistake.Would rather the money spend on left wing or promising youngster. The only center back I think will leaving is Danny Wilson and Ayala.

With regards to tickets, the RM 108 ones are unavailable online at ticketpro. I imagine it's because they've already allocated a specified amount to outlets such as Adidas, Rock Corner, etc. From today they should be available at Bukit Jalil. Ticket agents don't just release all tickets at one go. They make daily/weekly allocations to ensure that late comers have a chance at getting good seats or they just might not bother going at all. I'm sure that if you try hard enough, you'll be able to get the RM 108 ones. Try Bkt. Jalil. I also heard that Adidas will replenish their stock. The reason they ran out so fast yesterday is because they didn't expect such a huge response. The take up was much slower when they sold the Chelsea tickets.

Does everyone from MYRAWK bought the green gate seat? Me and Jomey Asmat got the green gate tix.

Yeah we're all there buddy. Let's all meet at the stadium and take up a small section. Must go early. Decide on what time closer to the date. I don't want to fight for parking and seats man.

Sorry,but i dont like maxi sad.gif

I really dont know what you guys see in him. blink.gif

I'm not his biggest fan either but let's be fair, he wasn't signed as an impact player. I mean he wasn't even in Atletico's first 11 when we signed him. Thing is, like many of the other players, he's been revitalised since King Kenny took over and he's come good with some important goals. If he's content being a squad player, I have no qualms with him being in the squad. If anything he has bags of experience to impart on younger players.

Well, im still glad there are fans out there willing to let go at the same price.
Could already see a packed-out stadium already.
SCB staff has a 20% discount i hear. Even if they're working in Singapore or any, overseas. I believe they hold out quite a number for the staff as well.
*
20% discount is for last season away jersey. I dont think they get any discount for the match but they do get some special gift from what i heard.

Johnson prefered position will always be on the right flank even though he's coping well on the left last season. He'll only play as a left back as a last resort. Our right back has enough depth in Johnson, Kelly, and Flanagan. We need to have the same competition on the left as well. So IMO, our transfer targets this summer will be focus on the lefties..
