I think we are not expecting to sign him anyway since there are rumours of him not passing medical lar, not agreeing to personal terms lar. Bla bla bla.

Even last month, he himself admitted he would open to a move to Premier League but that not necessarily mean it would be Liverpool FC. So, no biggie. No question on NUFC thread there happy over the signing but it seems like they are having a dig on us on every god damn thing. Another reason why I said other premier league club gonna hate us for raiding their clubs. Better win something with all these raiding or else we gonna be hated for no reasons!

Well other premier league used to hate MU for raiding their stars likes Rooney, Berba, Ferdinand, Carrick the list goes on. So if we are taking that role now then it must be a good sign. icon_rolleyes.gif

Liverpool keen on South Korean stars

Liverpool are preparing a swoop for Celtic star Ki Sung-Yeung in the event of a deal for Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam falling through.

The Reds have attempted to finalise a deal for the Scotland international this week, but with the transfer making slow progress and Tottenham reportedly ready to renew their interest, Kenny Dalglish is preparing to turn his attentions to the 22-year-old South Korean.

Despite his age Sung-Yeung has already represented his country 38 times and is central to Celtic boss Neil Lennon's plans making 34 appearances for the club last season.

Liverpool are also monitoring the situation of Sung-Yeung's countryman Ji Dong-Won and his proposed transfer to Sunderland.

The 20-year-old is close to signing for Steve Bruce's side subject to a work permit being granted, but Liverpool may attempt to take advantage of this situation with the club interested in bringing him in as back-up for first choice pairing Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.

This is off topic but does anyone know how can I get Anfield tickets besides buying at the stadium?

I tried to google it but different websites gives different pricing (I mean really HUGE difference). The official anfield website stated that ticket price ranges between £30 - 40 . They are not providing online transaction.

But another website which has online ticketing also has a much higher pricing at £200 - 250.

buy it online via liverpoolfc web usually they release it few weeks b4 the match. But for now please sign up as a member 1st

£30 - 40 sounds right, £200 - 250 is just purely chopping your head

that's the thing when you have a nice transfer kitty announced and FSG announcing their intent on young and talented players. The media will no doubt link the club with every tom, diggs and harry out there in the market.

It's like if Daglish or Comolli goes into a bar and share a drink with any players in there, immediately you'll see a story the next hour or so that he/them are liked to LFC. I bet even KD or Comolli can't walk to a bar frequent by footie stars anymore for just a pint of their fave brew.

Now I have mentioned earlier, most of these reports or links are either false or at least looks like a smokescreen for other unseen dealings and talks down within the club. It's good we are link with so many people as it will also create it harder for others to bid for them (because they will always wait to see if LFC will jack it up rolleyes.gif ).

Fun to see some clubs having a dig at us but it's not a bad thing. reminds me of when i was 10 when i started supporting LFC and now 28 years later, I feel the envy of LFC from other teams in terms of stability (minimal debt), passion (the King is back) and love for the English game is back. We should be proud for every dig from our rivals only means that we are becoming a genuine threat and its really a great feeling. wub.gif

trust in the club, in KD, in Comolli and in the Boot Room (restaurant now thumbup.gif ) to give us the reason of how much we love our club and how much respect we have for our rival clubs even if their fans don't show the respect back to us.

Yeah, so long until we can go head-to-head with others in signing good players. Still remember those days when we are looking for cheap & good players. tongue.gif well, hope now we use our advantage well.

I trust them biggrin.gif

Watched the friendly match on tv between Brazil and Scotland. Watched Adam carefully until he was substituted. Perhaps he was tired but he didn't look Liverpool material. Perhaps he stood out last season because Blackpool is so average. Having said that, he is certainly not a bad player. I think LFC need more time to evaluate him.

Different setup, different approach in game. And Scotland is not normally known to play cutting edge football. Adam is a decent player, not world class but then again Liverpool never needed a team of full of world class players to really succeed. We will have to judge him in the red shirt.

Prefer Ki-Sung Yeung to Adam. Been following him since his move to Celtic, playing style is rather similar to our very own Stevie, plus his nationality he can definitely make Liverpool more well known in Korea.
