Though, it was reported that he was fighting for a move back to the club by asking just 25k per week. Rafa rejected him and he went over to manutd. laugh.gif

I still think Rafa did the right thing in not accepting Owen back to the club. Owen walked out on us once. This is Anfield, not any place you can come and go as you wish m8. He got his league medal now so what? not like he's going to parade it at all lol he himself admitted it

really unfortunate though. one great striker leaves before another managed to come in. it has always been this case. we did not have the luxury of watching Owen-Torres partnership or even Torres-Suarez partnership sad.gif

i hope andy comes good. i dun even know how to use him in FM2011. weave your magic King Kenny notworthy.gif

Rennes' Sylvain Marveaux move is in doubt now! It seems couldn't agree personal terms... not as reported, failed medical!

I really hope we dun get him... I dun feel he is gud enough to be LFC! 1 season in BPL is nt enough too prove much, n playing wif a bunch of avg players made him to look like a star but can he do tat wif classy players surrounded around him? We should get the france national team DM, young n gud but have to spent a lot!

I wish to se at least a LB, CB n LM.. Then mayb AM, RM and ST! Afta tat do some major stock clearance but keep Maxi...

This is off topic but does anyone know how can I get Anfield tickets besides buying at the stadium?

I tried to google it but different websites gives different pricing (I mean really HUGE difference). The official anfield website stated that ticket price ranges between £30 - 40 . They are not providing online transaction.

But another website which has online ticketing also has a much higher pricing at £200 - 250.

Thank goodness, he is not signing! You gotta wonder how crocked he has to be when Aquilani , Aurelio and Joe Cole can pass their medicals but not him. heck a half injured Carroll could still pass his medical!

at least this still means we are in for either Mata or Downing.

so the disagreement is actually due to his medical? hmm.gif

Hahaha..nice jokes..

"After hearing injury prone Frenchman Sylvain Marveaux has signed for Newcastle Utd after "failing" a medical at Melwood, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate cut short their holiday in Whitley Bay to speak to Mike Ashley."

most probably in July when the European transfer market opens. most youngsters are away with their international team now so everything is at a halt for now at least

btw good thing we missed out on another crocked player. 60k/week for 5 years? no thanks mate.
