adam, gerrard, meireles all Attacking Midfielder ...who will defend?
notice that i say depends on opposition..small club playing at anfield, this should be our line up..but playing against top 4 in away games..u could see Lucas came in for Raul..isnt it better we have many options to pick
Rumours are buzzing that Charlie Adam will be signing for us this Friday for 9m. He was a very influential captain for Blackpool and scored alot of important goals for them. I like him.
But is he good for us? Will it be too much of a good thing?
The young striker from Ipswich and Downing are clearer in terms of our needs, but do we need another central midfielder even if he's a darn good one?
YUP!!!..u will be thankful when gerrard, raul, lucas not available cos of injury & suspension
one thing for sure if Adam indeed coming...our set pieces gonna improve a lot!
That will never happen. There is no chance dortmund will let Kagawa go after Sahin left for Real.
Also, Sylvain Marveaux played less game as compared to Agger due to injury in the equivalent past 3 seasons. I hope he fails the medical. We don't need a backup who needs a backup. Looking at statistics, he's more prone to injury than Agger and i can't honestly put a player who's more unfortunate than Agger the past few seasons. Oh wait, Sylvain it is. hahaha
"Nolan is free to choose, he has a right to leave. I want him to stay with us. " Yesterday on RMC, Michel Guyot made no mystery about the contractual situation of his star striker. With a release clause of € 8 million, Nolan Roux is indeed a prime target for many courses this summer. Bordeaux seemed the hottest in France with Marseille and Schalke 04 also interested.
But that's another destination that should take the player of Stade Brest . According francefootball.fr, Roux would have expected this weekend on the side of Liverpool to become involved! The Reds are therefore willing to pay the € 8 million required by the attacker to Brest for 23 years.
After one season in Ligue 1, which is more truncated by injury, so the French could win the Premier League. A prestigious destination, but certainly the least surprising in view of the impressive offensive armada Reds. With Kuyt, Carroll and Suarez, the coach Kenny Dalglish has three incumbents in power to lead the forward line. Roux is regarded as a liner. French clubs interested in trying to reverse the trend in this matter.
lets put it this way..the year we bought torres, atletico madrid had pre season frenly with us..this year valencia gonna have a pre season frenly with us...so dont worry, juan mata will be ours...just be patient

Arsenal's Gael Clichy will hugely increase his wages with a move to Manchester City but has also resolved to leave north London because he doubts Arsène Wenger's desire to keep him.
As The Independent revealed yesterday, City are close to concluding a four-year deal – possibly rising to £10m – for Clichy, gazumping Liverpool and enabling the Frenchman to increase his weekly wage from the current £58,000, excluding bonuses, to over £90,000 at Eastlands.
Aware a move to a top-flight club would happen this summer, Adam has been preparing for the moment. He has spent the close-season not on the beach but in the boxing ring, working with a Blackpool middleweight champion to ensure he's in perfect nick for the new season.
The last midfielder to join Liverpool from Blackpool, in 1967, was a promising young lad by the name of Emlyn Hughes. Adam might not be in that class, but he isn't far behind.
