Does Unifi bill payment through maybank2u work?

I have used their occ portal to pay using my credit card before.... and the payment went through, got charged by bank, and the status on the occ portal still remained unpaid!! I had to call them more than 10 times over the course of 1 month to FINALLY get them to acknowledge that I paid and subsequently update the payment history.

Since then I've been paying it over TM Point counters. But I've been thinking perhaps paying by maybank2u won't give me the same kind of trouble I ran into with payment via their portal.

What's your experience with paying unifi bills via maybank2u?
*
I pay through Pos Online xD Then from pos online, I pay with public bank.

bro..
4.7 is considered good enough already for a 5mb
what do u expect ? subscribed 5mb,ngam2 5mb ? no way la..
*
I was talking about capping speed, if they capping at 4.7Mbps then it wrong. If they capping at 5Mbps, once a while u should be able to reach that's speed using their own server.

its not about capping. even if they capped you at 5mbps flat, you wont get 5mbps due to overhead in networking.

if they cap you at 4.7, then u should get lesser than 4.7 when doing speedtest.
4.3-4.4 maybe ? it works that way, you wont get 100% of the promised speed thru speedtest
you can try to monitor ur download speed by direct downloading something + DU meter
you should be able to get 600++ kbps something on a 4.7 = 5mbps connection

Anybody can confirm what's is the capping speed for each unifi package..

Mine never reach 5Mbps, Only 4.7.. Make me think their capping the speed 5,000,000 bits and not 5242880. It's about 200Kbps different..
*
yup i agreed with you. i believed the way they shape it is 5,000,000 not the actual 5,242,880. anyway for ethernet service (at least SG and AU), it's shaped is that way.

No need to terminate the line. But you can fax/call using unifi line as well so not necessary to have 2 lines, unless u want to maintain the old number due to business contact etc.

Yes.. Normal monthly fee for Homeline. RM25 - 27 I believe. Can't port the number to unifi..

You can just maintain your old line. Just treat it as if you have two lines for your usage.

You should maintain your old line, as the Unifi VOIP will depend on your internet connectivity. If it is down, then you won't be able to use it.

It's depend of fiber network, not internet per se but it's still need fiber networks. All Internet/VOIP/IPTV go through the fiber network.

You have to go TM Point and ask for termination.
