Change the BW to 20mhz and channel to 6 but still unable to connect. Is it because my laptop too old. I have no problem connect to Streamyx last night. Today after upgrade to UNifi, can't online anymore mad.gif

From klseet's unifi router replacement option between TPLink TD -W8960N and Asus RT-N13U, does anyone knows which one has a stronger wifi signal strength?

My current TM wifi router is downstairs and the signal strength upstairs is not very good. If I want to change, I want to make sure I'm changing to one that gives a stronger wifi signal.

yea the stupid wifi router given to me the signal to 1st floor is not very strong.. i'm looking for either 841ND or 941ND so that i can replace a 9dbi signal antenna... now i still thinking whether possible to have 841ND(ddwrt monitor traffic) handle the wifi sharing to my upper & lower floor PCs..and to maintain iptv.. any possible way? is it by bridging the TM modem?

I can best assume from all the past posts and from the info contain in the first post, the reason why my phone is having so much connectivity problem with my stock Unifi modem (just installed four days ago) is being to the crappy wireless router which they provided, right ? I do not face any issues with my PC which is connected via LAN cable.

So it would be recommended that I get an alternative such as TD-W8960N ? I do not want to lose my connectivity for my DECT phone and IPTV.

Anyone got it recently and mind letting me know where to get it, cheap ?

...Any idea how to port forward this modem : RG TMRnd Gen 1.0 ?
I don't have this device so I have no idea how to do it.
Even I have one, I doubt I'll spend time on it, I just feel that it's crappy, could be worst than the DIR-615! doh.gif

The VoIP is handled by the BTU/VDSL2, not the router.
Those routers replacement only for Internet (vlan.500) & IPTV (vlan.600).
So you should make complaint to TM CS on the BTU/VDSL2 if you have VoIP problem. smile.gif
