Connection to office in UK is stable again.

Download speed is still as good as yesterday ... solid 2.2-2.3mb/s from Usenet on 20mb package. Haven't tried any HTTP downloads today.

I've already paid my bill but my status at occ still hasn't updated. Usually how long it takes for them to update their database? It's been 2 days.

I think TM is implementing bittorrent throttle on Unifi users. My connection is throttled down after the initial torrent burst speed.

Was getting over 1MB/s then it dropped down to 9kB/s. Tried it on my Mac and then on Windows, both got the same outcome. Changed IP and the problem went away. Thus, I think they will start implementing traffic shaping soon.

Over 60 seeds - mostly seedboxes.

simple ans=just call tm to cancel... quote ur order-id n call that agent n scold him/her kaokao.

long ans=it's not whether it's legal or not. they shouldn't have done that at the 1st place n the funny part is that you'll get ur unifi installed but they won't b able to summit the application to claim their commission without ur ic... it's more like a desperate move to get more applications/commission.

Tomorrow is my another unifi Biz5 installation at home :-)

Still cheap getting 2x 5 Mbps at RM 199 x 2 = 398

While getting 10 Mbps at = RM 599

You can save RM 201

RM 201 x 24 months contract ? = RM 4,824

May I know with or without the custom firmware?

QUOTE(soulsberry @ Jul 29 2011, 12:11 PM)
...My office just upgraded internet line from Streamyx to Unifi.

I unplugged Stremayx Router, turned off the switch, then plugged Unifi router to the switch and turned the switch on. I tried different ports on the switch and router but still have problem to connect to internet.

Do we need switch with VLAN support to connect Unifi?

Anyone can help on this? Thank you.

Cheers.

May I know what "switch" are you referring to?
You mean those UniFi contractor didn't test the connection for you?

QUOTE(milky @ Jul 29 2011, 12:41 PM)
anybody can answer this?

TL-WR841ND is Atheros chip, if I'm not mistaken, dd-wrt has problem create multiple vlans on port-level for Atheros & Ralink.
For Broadcom, can create at port, but somehow have problem on vlan ID more than 2 digits.

So if you flash TL-WR841ND to dd-wrt, yes you may lose the IPTV.

Btw, why do you want to flash it since it has custom firmware for UniFi?
