It comes with a physical disc with the bundle not pre installed. Sadly, the physical itself game does not come with a Nintendo code so could not register separately.

No.. I've already talked about this before.
Even NA version of the bundle does not include Nintendo Code in the physical disk itself.
Registering the Wii U and linking to Nintendo Club is the way to get the free game.

Pel It doesn't make sense in your situation. You get the coins on Nintendo Club when you registered the console right?.. That means yours is actually US version..

Hi Guys,

Did anyone managed to redeem the free game after registering their MK8 Bundle. Mine didn't work even though its a US set so i opened a case with Nintendo and got the following respond:

Please note, this offer is only available for US and Canadian systems. Based upon the information provided, it appears your Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Set is not eligible for this promotion. However, if you provide some additional information we may be able to assist.

Please reply to this email with all of the information below and be sure to include your original message along with this response:

. Country of residence:
. Retailer's name and location (city, state/province):
. A scan or picture attachment of your original sales receipt

The receipt must have the serial number or the product name clearly visible. Receipts without this information will not be accepted.

Once we receive your proof of purchase, you will receive a resolution. Thank you again for your patience as this gets sorted out.

Sincerely,
Nintendo of America Inc.

Well, based on the response by the Nintendo, looks like you are out of luck. They really need to make sure that the set that you bought is either from US or Canada market, that is why they need a scan receipt as a proof of purchase.

bro, i read your reply to my thread in nintendo forum, it seems that Nintendo is playing us. The late reply didnt help either. Now just hope they will change their minds

After E3 success, I would have thought they would become more nicer to share out the gifts. Guess NOT sad.gif

Huhu every one getting wii u now despite the lousy hardware spec xi nintendo just owned!! Hope next console for nintendo will be same spec with ps4. Definitely awesome

Taking into the account the PS4 cost so much more and the Wii U has the gamepad, the Wii U is a very attractive option.

Nintendo basically sacrifice the hardware specs for the gamepad. Whether it is a smart move or not is yet to be seen. So far for me, Wii U>Ps4. PS4 is just a juiced up PS3 with close to none exclusive games.

I agree that Wii U currently have more interesting games that I want to play than PS4.
Hardware wise, it is fine.
Since PS3 and Xbox360, the graphics have reached a stage where the leap in graphics are not as dramatic (EG: SNES -> N64 or PS2 -> PS3).

What developers have neglected is fun and gameplay. They seem to focus too much on graphics, technical specs (60fps, 1080p!) etc...

I still love the old school 8 bit and 16 bit era. Hard games but they are so memorable and fun.
Nowadays, games are commonly mature hardcore shooters and 3rd person stuffs.

Where's the fun?

There's a bloody good reason why Nintendo was hailed as the winner of E3 this year.

They gave 3 days worth of fun to everyone. Sony only gave 1.

Seriously? They track your IP? I don't believe that....shit man.

If that really is the case, if anyone needs someone to register it for them, I can do it smile.gif

You live in the US right now?

I believe they track your IP if you email them about the free game.
Wrong move to not use VPN or proxy for such a thing. Calling using software could have also worked well to Nintendo.

Ya though its in terms and condition, they cant really prove it. I could be US resident that got it as a gift but currently resides in Asia. Still I think its not a good move to neglect new Nintendo Wii U owner. Its like u bought a new car and wham, gearbox spoil, no warranty.
