but i guess nintendo clarifies REGION, not CITIZENSHIP....so, if youre malaysian resides at US, then you eligible to participate vice versa, if youre american, resides at singapore, you will not get the free games...

They don't check your IP address. I just redeemed my code yesterday, after registering Mario Kart 8 on Club Nintendo's site.

Like some said before, the bundle can be a little wonky when trying to get the free game. I waited two days after linking my Club Nintendo account to my Wii U, and still no code. Fortunately for me, Mario Kart 8 came with the PIN code, so I managed to get it registered. Immediately after registering, I got the option to choose between the four games.

Though you do need a fake American / Canadian address to redeem the code. ;D

I bought a physical disk mario kart yesterday and managed to redeem my reward...i choose zelda, phew thought i will never get it.

And I am looking to Ultra Street Fighter 4, and even that is in PS3.

Destiny is coming though. But yes not much to play.. Wii U has better libraries and first party support at the moment

Serious tak rasa syok with Destiny. I mean, don't get me wrong, Bungie is very imaginative (and I love that), tapi it's not that appealing for me though.

Or I am just too busy that I prefer something short and sweet.

Not appealing because you haven't played the Alpha is it.. Doesn't matter in the end people will know the greatness if it once they are hyped.

Aku dah tgk videos on the Alpha build. Aku boleh nampak the fun-ness, but aku rasa macam dah overcrowded dengan shooters.

Dia problem macam zaman PS2, when it was overcrowded with RPGs, and then action titles. Haha.

Finally got my Wii U MK8 Bundle free download code. All i had to do was call Nintendo USA call center and they activated it for me in their system. Once i hung up, I logged into my nintendo club account and the free game option popped up and i choose the NSMBU game and got the code. will download it later tonight.

All they asked was my email address and if I live in the USA which is replied saying no, I live in Canada ;-) as per my Wii U account creation (so i can use my credit card for purchases).

Made the call from my US company office phone which makes is like a local phone call. Had to wait around 20 minutes for their helpdesk to pick up the call so don't try in from outside the US. Cheaper to just buy the free code from Ebay which cost only around 17.99 dollars ;-).

Guess everyone should try calling instead for the free games rather than trying via email.
Maybe use some free software to call them.
