is it just me or my finger? i found that when i try to scroll on the screen it is not as easy/smooth as those with SP like my wife's iPad 2 and Desire.

on the day in was at MV to get my TF, i went to a shop nearby and asked abt the price of microSD card. wanted to compare and make sure the promo package offered on that day was 'worth it'.

the shop fella told me that branded microSD manufacturers dun have Class 6 or Class 10. usually just Class 4. he said Class 4 is good enough. its the 'not-so-branded' ones that comes up with higher speed. any truth in the statement by the shop fella?

I think Kingmax quite a brand... and they have Class 10...

another Q... how many have tried using the bundled SW like MyCloud, MyNet, etc? feedback? i have yet to test those...

kingmax got class10 microsd... DNA also got class 10 and is cheaper.....
oh.. recently i think kingston also release a class 10 microsd card as well....

that shop was just trying to do sales. Of course there is difference in class 4, 6, and 10. Don't be fooled by them. Brand is usally not much of an issue because at the core of it, class depends on the composition of the SD card - which determines the read/write speed.

In other words, the shop guy is telling that a person who can type 5 words in 10 seconds is equally fast to the person who can type 30 words in the same amount of time..

I have a Transcend class 6 8GB SD. If you use it in dSLR to record HD movie, you will see smooth playback result from a movie file recorded on class 6. My friend was using class 4, he said the movie came out to be lagging. So I still believe in higher class, the faster the speed. So better get either class 6 or 10... you dont want performance degradation on your TF, right?

I'm using MoboPlayer can play most movie formats without issues but when I try with .MKV files no sound only video. Still figuring out how to properly play MKV.

ya, but unfortunately for me... the bundled promo package that day was with a Class 4 card from PenDrive.

yes, i read that one can see marked improvements for HD video recording, etc... just wondering if it will really apply for TF. but still, if i get a next card, i'll make sure to avoid that shop in MV. the fella said no difference, and that's why the big manufacturers dun bother with anything more than Class 4.

Added on June 3, 2011, 4:15 pmif i m not mistaken, MKV is just a container. it still depends on how was used to encode the file. so, possibly its more a decoder than is not available on moboplayer.

You need to do more searching..Try camera shops..They usually have class 6 or class 10..

Oh ya, the shops that I am searching are all the computer accessories shops.

same here... went to the pc shops near Asus in MV and could not find any Class 8/ 10. looks like i was looking at wrong place...

Sure got..Especially those that sell DSLRs because these cameras need high speed class for high quality video recording..Just like our friend mentioned above..I bought my class 10 from DSLR shop too

shahz, do you happen to know why did Asus not have enough stock for the KDS but ended up other resellers like Cycom have full set available since 1-2 days ago? Doesn't make sense for early adopters to be without KDS, not logical at all the way they treat us who queued up so long then just get the free sleeve and paid for the KDS (i paid full, some paid deposit) and dont even get the KDS first..

And I wouldn't suggest any seller here because the last time I did a good deed to someone, he backstabbed at me. I asked him to sell at the price that he was selling and I was not earning any commission out of it. Then after several weeks when he got huge number of sales, he raised the price. That was the last time I did a good deed for a seller.
