Sure got..Especially those that sell DSLRs because these cameras need high speed class for high quality video recording..Just like our friend mentioned above..I bought my class 10 from DSLR shop too smile.gif

ya, i guess i'll check the camera shops in MV when i go there to collect my dock. i wonder when is the stock coming in... unsure.gif

but doubt i'll be getting 1 since i still have a lot of space on the TF and my 8GB card.

same here... went to the pc shops near Asus in MV and could not find any Class 8/ 10. looks like i was looking at wrong place...  blush.gif

Its quite hard to get Class 6/10 cards, I went to Sunway Pyramid Digital Centre also don't have. Better places maybe Lowyat or Digital Mall. I did some research on this class thingy last time, I realised even within the same class the read/write speeds may be different. Its up to benchmarking to show you the real performance. For example Sandisk cards somehow have higher performance r/w speeds even at lower classes compared to say a Kingston Class 10 card.

shahz, do you happen to know why did Asus not have enough stock for the KDS but ended up other resellers like Cycom have full set available since 1-2 days ago? Doesn't make sense for early adopters to be without KDS, not logical at all the way they treat us who queued up so long then just get the free sleeve and paid for the KDS (i paid full, some paid deposit) and dont even get the KDS first..
*
Because your batch is already reserved. The production was slowed down due to the very high demand. Those that cycom and others are getting were separate batches. There's a lot of process involved in this batch - production - packaging - delivery - customs - distribution.

Added on June 3, 2011, 4:37 pmOn the class 6 / class 10, dont be surprised if some class 10 are slower than the others. Indeed, different brands..no..wait..even same brand, but a different card will not have the same r/w speeds..In fact, you can test a card's speed a few times and you will likely never get the same figures.

On my nexus one, I even modified the block size of my sd card to see which one performs better. Mine was 48 sized block if im not mistaken. been quite sometime. But the performance difference is significant smile.gif

Kingmax has announce a 64GB microsd card.. but don't think is available now...
but 64GB is Micro SD XC not the common Micro SD HC... so don't think TF is supporting it as nowadays almost all the gadget available now is only support SDHC....

Hey all,

I'm one of the ppl who got the pre-order from Evernew last Saturday. Still waiting for my KBD... TS please add me in k? wink.gif

Regarding the card issues, I bought myself a Sandisk 32GB (Class 4) online. I've really got no confidence that 16GB built in is enough for me, as planning to store movies n music in it, and also comics. smile.gif I did some googling on sd cards (cause I heard got fake SD cards before... it's possible, even external HDD also got fake!), and some forums mentioned that even though the cards are rated at class 6 or 10, the reliability of the card may not be all that good. Read up on the reviews of the brands u intend to buy, before making your decision.

I noticed something about my TF today, when I move away from my office Wifi, obviously the connection will die off, but when I come back, the Wifi option on my TF is showing "shutting down" and can't be ticked (it's faded). I tried turning the airplane mode ON and OFF, but the Wifi still stuck that way. Only can reboot to get it working again. Anybody faced this problem? I'm using WW 3.1.

I'm using MoboPlayer can play most movie formats without issues but when I try with .MKV files no sound only video. Still figuring out how to properly play MKV.

it's because the audio is in AC3 format, and there's no AC3 codec yet for android, not that i know of... but then again, i'm still new in android, so any experienced user here have any methods that gets AC3 playing pls let us know biggrin.gif

Camera shops are mostly cold silent killers... I think buying them from pc hardware resellers is better. But beware of fakes lor...

By the way, how many of you do have the keyboard dock? I found that it is a bit difficult to plug the pad on the docking port and lock it. Really need to push hard to make it stay connected and lock properly. If not when you close it or simply move the pad a bit, the connection loose, your keyboard and mouse cannot function anymore. :|
*
*When your Eee Pad is attached to the mobile docking, never pickup the Eee Pad alone. Always pickup the entire assembly by the bottom of the mobile docking.

*The mobile docking latch moves to the right when you successfully dock the Eee Pad.
