Tried to check the price from amazon.com for the casing and screen protector and plus the shipping cost, it is 98.87 USD = 298.149 MYR.

So expensive! I hope I can find them locally. sad.gif

Guys, try to install Google Earth 2.0.1.
It's awesome.
I love it so much.

well dun put too much stuff inside your TF then should be enuf one..especially if u put lots of movies sure run out of space easily tongue.gif
*
I think the best solution is, we leave the 12GB internal memory for cache la apps installation la and so on...

All the multimedia files like mp3, mp4, mkv, rmvb, basically songs and movies put them in a microSD card (that's why I plan to buy a microSD card now)...

By the way, how many of you do have the keyboard dock? I found that it is a bit difficult to plug the pad on the docking port and lock it. Really need to push hard to make it stay connected and lock properly. If not when you close it or simply move the pad a bit, the connection loose, your keyboard and mouse cannot function anymore. :|

this is actually the better way... coz if need to move the files from one place to another, easier as well. just eject the card.

but i do copy 1-2 favourite files into the TF, in case the card rosak or pinjam to ppl...
*
my plan is the card cannot borrow people, I will treat it as a permanent-external storage. you are right, just eject the card, plug into another card reader to copy files over, life is easier then. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jun 3 2011, 04:00 PM)
actually... need to ask all the sifu here abt this.

on the day in was at MV to get my TF, i went to a shop nearby and asked abt the price of microSD card. wanted to compare and make sure the promo package offered on that day was 'worth it'.

the shop fella told me that branded microSD manufacturers dun have Class 6 or Class 10. usually just Class 4. he said Class 4 is good enough. its the 'not-so-branded' ones that comes up with higher speed. any truth in the statement by the shop fella?
*
I have a Transcend class 6 8GB SD. If you use it in dSLR to record HD movie, you will see smooth playback result from a movie file recorded on class 6. My friend was using class 4, he said the movie came out to be lagging. So I still believe in higher class, the faster the speed. So better get either class 6 or 10... you dont want performance degradation on your TF, right? smile.gif

*When your Eee Pad is attached to the mobile docking, never pickup the Eee Pad alone. Always pickup the entire assembly by the bottom of the mobile docking.

*The mobile docking latch moves to the right when you successfully dock the Eee Pad.

Yes,i read the manual, i didnt lift the unit by the pad.
What i meant here is after docking i close the pad down, open it again and the connection loose.
Put it on my lap, leg move a bit, connection loose again.

I saw from some of the review from youtube, the asus transformer default wallpaper is like a water and the water level goes according to the batery level. Is it a default theme that come with asus transformer? How do I set it, I just can't find it anywhere. sad.gif

Any recommended shops to get an ipad similar casing?
*
I asked the asus shop in midvalley and then they told me that kind of casing will come in later maybe by the end of the month. If you scroll back in this forum, you will actually see someone has posted a link for the casing before. you can purcahase online frm amazon bu quite expensive. therefore, I will wait for it to arrive at the local store.

I found that the android default on screen keyboard is a lot more responsive than the Asus one. I can now type faster. Better user experience. :-)

The first method of using @googlemail.com isn't working for me.

So I try the second method which is the proxy thingy. My market apps is taking forever to connect now. Ya, I can remove the proxy settings so what's the point to go back to the square one?

I don't understand why the heck google want to implement so many regional restrictions. The restrictions are even worse than appstore, appstore is not so strict, why google want to make it this way? I thought open source should be even more "open"?

I can't even find those popular and simple apps from market such as skype, pingchat and whatsapp. Why under the sun would google want to hide it from tablet?

Let's take an example, I can install waze in my iphone without problem. I found waze from android market but i can't install it due to country restrictions. Why the hell in appstore we can install but not android market? I thought android is an open source OS and as well as the market?
