QUOTE(Ham Tan Chow Taufu @ Jun 6 2011, 02:11 PM) Too bad kedai kopi cannot pay using credit card, else quite possible to hit RM1k per month. RM1500 is for retail spending including dining... Not RM1500 on diniing only. Please read the promo T&C properly. Each cardmember can get maximum RM150 cash back for the entire promotion. @25%, that's a nett spending of RM600 on dining ONLY. Eg. A table for 6 at Ah Yat Abalone cost RM699++ A table for 4 at Dragon-i Restaurant cost RM399++ This post has been edited by ronnie: Jun 6 2011, 02:23 PM

actually the cash rebate is less than 25%
need to spend at least rm3000 (june and july)
max cash rebate is rm150 only
150 / 3000 = 5%
u get only 5% rebate which is same for mbb 2 amex on weekend and ocbc titanium. Of course you still got points and rebates if u are business visa platinum holder. Total maximum you will get after added in points and rebates is 6% only for biz visa platinum cc holder

QUOTE 5b. Spend a total of at least RM1,500 on his/her same Debit or Credit Card for retail charges ("Qualifying Spend") during one particular Qualifying Spend Period stated in the table below The 10% nett cashback is the maximum possible.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 6 2011, 03:17 PM) Care to share which T&C states we must spend RM3000 ? The 10% nett cashback is the maximum possible. The extra Qualifying Spend during the first Qualifying Spend Period will not be carried forward for the second Qualifying Spend Period. For example, if a Cardholder spends RM3,000 in the first Qualifying Spend Period, the extra RM1,500 will not be considered as Qualifying Spend for the second Qualifying Spend Period.
The same principle applies for the calculation of the dining charges to award the 25% CashBack where dining charges made during the first Qualifying Spend Period will not be taken into account for calculating the Qualifying Spend of the second Qualifying Spend Period. Spend at least RM1,500 per month on anything, not just dining. let say you have hit rm150 cash back in first month, then u can stop spending with your scb card already and wait for the cash back to be credited into ur account. If not, then u have to spend another rm1500 in second month in order to get the remaining cash back which u didnt get in first month

Idea : Go bring your dad to a nice expensive meal during Father's Day You see, this promotion making spend more that you otherwise would Idea: why not take you dad to a nice and reasonable priced restaurant and save more than the cash back, haha QUOTE(gerrardling @ Jun 6 2011, 04:28 PM) but where to spend for another rm900 ? lol buy a massage chair ??? the balance RM900 go spend on weekend with MBB2 and get back 7.5% would be better?
