i call up to their CS.. they ask me to fax in those document..already fax in but still no news..when call back again to ask..they say still in process..but it has been 1 month ago dy..so tat y thinking other alternative for upgrading..if possible

Did you put in your salary slip/EA form to support your application for an upgrade ?

anyone tried scb cashone already ? the interest charges same with personal loan interest ?

I think the procedure for upgrading to platinum is the same. Do remember to ask if you need to pay the GST again for the upgraded card.

For sure i'm going to cancel my SCB biz plat. No point keeping it already

Many says SCB is generous for the high credit limit. I just applied for CL increase, and what they offered is just a mere 5K, which the total CL is about the same as my monthly salary.

I'm so disappointed, and will look for other banks.

I think the CS will offer him $$. For my case, I have tried to cancel my card for 2 years already yet they offer me RM50 to offset the GST. So I just keep the card (Not a single swipe since day 1, dunno why they 12 retain me). The card actually came from my housing loan application but in the end I did not take the loan.

last time got this card due to free RM38...after that never use
CS told me within 3 days will someone call me to confirm the card status

I am also going to cancel soon, perhaps in August.
Before that, I will need to redeem all the points. I have 7K++ points inside.

At least 3 forumers here have cancelled or going to cancel their SCB cards.

just got called from CS, failed to cancel, got to wait until next year Jan only able to cancel
due to this year Jan i only get my card

i don't thk got such rules, insist to cancel and bash them

u can cancel only after the 6th month, of retaining it. failing which, the bank has the right to record it in the CCRIS (read the t/c of the cc).
