I really don't feel like keeping the card.
Can't find any use in it.

i also dont feel like want to keep this card. when they changed RM50 Cash Back redemption point to 14,000

Yesterday they called me to offer me with cash on cheques with 2.99% with no other charges.

Do you think it is worth ? i am worry about they will not waive annual fee + gst for business plat card.

Totally agree with u. After they give me the 25% cash-back from the dining promotion, I will cut my SCB card also. But they will only give it on 29 Aug.

Same here.... the SMS notification works great even while roaming.
A offline credit hold from Hotel was received almost instant.

Most likely I will hold on to this card until the 2 yr free waiver offer lapse. Hoping they will introduce more promos similar to the 25% cash back. So far it has given me more benefits, esp in terms of dining discounts.

Just want to know if the bank normally will waive annual fee and gst?

I'm planning to take it for pay for my flexi loan... which still got few % extra

Chemistry: did u take the offer?

I am new-to-bank too. My SCB is not even 1 year old yet. So I can't tell whether the bank "normally will waive annual fee and gst" or not.
I didn't take the offer.

Hi, I just subscribed to sms alert service and it is free. It provide u sms alert for every transaction when u used u credit card. COOL..

But, HSBC's credit card is different. U need to pay RM 1.00 per month for the service, but they will not alert u on every transaction. Only select transaction item will alert to u.

Based on this, SCB's cc is better than HSBC's cc.

As I'm now charging the SCB overseas, I get the SMS with the amount shown RM. Does the amount shown in the Transaction SMS same as amount to be charged in my CC bill ?
