seen how casing can do damage to the phone chasis due to rubber rubbing against the clear coat and leave marks.. i'm thinking twice of applying casing.

I've been using my tough case on my Desire for about 8 months now. The silicon inner skin leaves no marks on the body of the device. It's absolutely clean and smooth whenever I need to take out of the case to access the sd card. Probably the best I've ever used. I use to adore Noreve leather cases (pricey but lovely), but I'll be sticking to my CM Tough cases because of the excellent protection offerred.

That's a good reason to get the SGS2 now while it's still the fastest droid around. We're probably gonna see a quad-core CPU and upgraded GPU and a qHD SAMOLED+ in the S3. But I doubt Sammy's gonna go beyond 4.3" on the display. So let's stop talking about the S3 and stick with the S2. I still haven't got mine yet Hoping official set is Exynos. Sure AP set would be less than official price by then, but still so long to wait.

Hopefully the SME spec will be the same as current AP spec. Although it (if the rumors are correct) will be cheaper, but I'm looking on the spare part availability. Imagine if the spec is otherwise, user whose own the UK spec will have a hard time to replace LCD or mobo (non warranty repair).

that's true! but if u send it here, for lcd repair for eg.. the superamoled+ will cost u more than rm600 for lcd alone.. if u send it to UK, most u have to pay for courier is rm150..

Yup. Really hoping it's the same spec. Want Exynos + SAMOLED+ badly but don't want to pay the killer price most of the AP sellers asking now. Knowing the official price already, they should actually sell at the official price since all AP sets are normally cheaper than official set price as we the user are taking the risk of buying it without official warranty and only relying on the seller's warranty. Unlike Handtec where we can still send the unit back to them for official warranty repair (at shipment cost of course). But I'm not too worried about the device though. I've been using the SGS1 for almost a year now (got it a few days after official launch from Maxis), never had a problem with it so far (thank you God!). If anything, the SGS2 should have better build quality that the SGS1. Owners here want to weigh in on this?

according to my source. a fren in samsung malaysia said the sgs2 stock already arrived and in inventory now. so will launch very soon...

it is usual for malaysia to have stock quite early and then wait a month for release. ive seen this already alot of times

ya, earlier posts in V3 (i think) already mentioned stocks arrived. just waiting for fengsui date to launch. maybe they wanna launch 1 day before sensation... kakakaka...
