exynos. i prefer that. only like what benny says... it is supposedly one of the features of sgs2. to quote benny... no exynos... sgs2 seems soulless.

but i have to add... same with samoled+. dun have that, sgs2 is just not sgs2... well, at least until when they wanna launch sgs3, then replace samoled+ with slcd like what they do for sgs1.

i can still wait for telco launch. so still waiting. i only hope got telco launch it. and even then, it's the right telco. honestly, i prefer it to be Digi coz i m very sure maxis offer will not be good. look at their current offers (for other phones)... i dun see how its actually attractive at all.

side note... i just got my 1st Android device over the weekend -- Transformer.

ya, earlier posts in V3 (i think) already mentioned stocks arrived. just waiting for fengsui date to launch. maybe they wanna launch 1 day before sensation... kakakaka...

nfc can be used for other things besides payment -- tap to transfer files, contacts, etc...

but if payment... i'd be surprised if we have companies already looking and preparing for this... but i'd prefer a tie-in with a company/ brand that has wide coverage/ use. maybe local banks can start eWallets with credit cards... similar to the visa wave?

but seriously... can't samsung just launch the dang phone?!? i mean, if what is rumoured is true and SME already have the phones in warehouse, why are they holding it back and not selling it? it's a HOTCAKE and selling so well all over the world. why need to hold back?

already got rumours that the closest 'competitor' (the htc sensation) pending some local approval and if all goes well, launching in June 2011 as well... read that from sensation topic...

i'm not sure how the phone industry works... but i'm sure logically, if SME have stocks, SME just tell the local telcos (whom SME have made prior arrangements) to just launch it, no?

unless... Telco 1 knows Telco 2 is launching Sensation and purposely wanna sabo and do a direct clash (meaning Telco1 purposely delay until Telco 2 launch Sensation). sorry but of course this statement implies SGS2 is having an advantage over Sensation.

otherwise, its just not logical as a company to hold stocks so long and not sell it. keeping stocks is considered liability.... until they convert to sales. while in warehouse, it can get stolen. each day, it becomes 'more obsolete'. it's still not 'profit' as long as its not sold.

honestly, i'm just kinda sick of waiting. my current phone battery is already dying on me (can't talk for more than 15mins). if i buy a replacement battery for my current phone, then i m not going to be buying any new phones for the next 1 year or so. but if this gets launched soon, i will be buying it... so, ya... frustrating... grrrr...

ya, i guess if they want their books to look nice, then ya... they wanna get nice figures for each Q. hmmm... i wonder if june is their next Q? but honestly, with just 1 year of active shelf life (sgs3 expected next year), i'd think they can sell lots of units even without resorting to this... plus, QuadCore coming out soon... then the following year, another new processor... so, i'd like to think there will be people who wan new gadgets every year...

before stocks arrive in MY warehouse, all the paperwork would already be done. sirim, approval, etc...

as for nego with telco, i would like to also think SMe already have indicative timeline when they would release a product. telco probably already nego 3-6mths ahead of this -- telco should have some plans 6-12mths ahead on what they plan to do for sales/ marketing/ promo.

can't be like last min i wanna bundle this product... then go ask marketing people got budget or not... then ask finance if this bundle is feasible and make money, etc...

so, if things are the way i like it to be... they are just waiting for the planned release date... *sigh* the wait can kill...

dun think this one is rumour. nvidia did publish their chipset timeline. 1 new chip per year. device using this new chip (quadcore) should be out sometime end of this year...

ya, this one also mentioned... i think i posted a link earlier that quoted Samsung bigshot... SG3 next year. but then again, every year, sure got 1 until the galaxy brand not so nice, then change name...

if rumours are to be believed... telco probably get exclusive for 2 weeks. not sure how many telco involved. sme only after telco exclusive ends.

i dun mind telco unit since i dun have any data plans yet. but just hope its the 'right' telco.

agree. maxis 'extra services' like professionalism of their customer service, etc... no doubt very professional. so they also charge professional fee.

for data plans, so far, the best for me seems to be digi. i'm only hoping they catch up with times and increase the average download speed to 800-900kbps.

ya, remember that one... and caused so many upsets and angry response. lol... if digi does this again, i hope they plan properly. i like they way asus did it with the transformer launch. then again, asus only had 1 location.

just OT a bit. for the incredible s, i did the pre-registration for it via digi website. but was disappointed coz i got release details from them very late -- after details were released on FB, websites, etc... then only received details in my email. that also... still need to queue up.

maxis website giving error... i guess it might be true some website update is on the way...

just curious... gotten yourself a sensational product yet? we're curious how the two match up, from your view point.
