Case-mate Tough case is great. Trying getting it on eBay. The seller I buy from is pretty reliable. UK based. I'm using tough cases on my HTC Desire and SGS, extremely reliable. Protects the device well adds minimum bulk compared to a leather case or otterbox.

What a beast! i was thinking of getting the White Argos for myself and another Vintage for my friend, been looking around last week and it seems like ExportPrive is cheaper since the price is USD 34.37 (+ another USD2.15 for secure post) . We worried about the postage previously because i lost my parcel once when i was getting my Dell Streak's accessories in eBay without the secure post but it seems like i shouldn't worry about it much now since Uncle Benny got his in such a perfect shape and nice shipment.

Thailand have many things relatively cheap compare to us surprisingly.. Yonex racquet which I usually keep an eye is around 20% cheaper than malaysia.. However many rumour said they are lower quality yet no one able to prove them

They save on QC. I worked in manufacturing before. Usually the products destined for 3rd world countries like India and China, the QC not so stringent so they save alot of $$ on that. For EU countries the QC is damn strict so alot of extra $$ there. So essentially you are paying for the QC, the product however is essentially the same.

just a quick question, will the "leather spot" on the front casing looks too obvious/ big? coz when i look at one of the front view pic u posted. the spot is quite big and give it a kind of "classical" feel

i wonder if it's as smooth as this one , u can notice the dots are very small and elegant (same argos series leather design but for iphone) :

just did a google image search on SGP Argos Leather iphone "White"

found the life photo with similar iphone product on the Argos casing sos SGS2



Looks good on the white one and its almost the same like what benny bought (i assume my worries are due to the different photo angle taken by benny) , a pretty case for those who prefer brighter color, black is good as well.

The edges of the tough case are raised about 2mm. This give a 2mm gap between any surface and the screen when placed face down. I still use a screen protector anyway. It won't protect the screen if you drop it face down on gravel or the road since there are defitinely sharp points greater than 2mm on these surfaces that could potentially hit the screen. I've had 1 incident myself dropping my Desire with the tough case face down un uneven surface, my SP got a nick, but the screen was fine underneath. The case absorbed most of the shock. Without the case, I guess my Deisre would be a right-off by now on the surface I dropped it.

I'm not here to promote it though. I love mine. They do the job, not much extra bulk, and most importanly to me, is the excellent grip the provide. Nothing like it.
