If you on 2.3.3 and yours is locked bootloader, nothing much can be done, only way is to revert back to2.3.2 and use ota to update it to 2.3.3...

Learn bout flash tool first as you need to use it to downgrade.. But you need to change the firmware region as iianm malaysia region don't have ota, correct me if im wrong...

yes.. dats rite.. simple way to have rooted 2.3.3

I've got the A 3.0.1.A.0.146 on my German unbranded Arc since yesterday.

A friend of mine claims that according to SE support the changes are:
- improved video and foto quality
- some smaller bug fixed
- improved wifi connection stability
- improved battery life a bit

However, the update wipes all you data and resets the phone... quite funny for such a small update when the last massive one just worked on the fly.

I haven't noticed anything upon now, but I never had problems with my wifi and obviously I can't judge the battery life up to now.

hey anyone got sudden shut down and restart cases where your machine suddenly go black and show the Sony Ericsson title, completely restart all over again? I got this prob recently for abt 2 weeks i wonder if something is wrong...overheating? hardware problem or probably system error? anyone know particular reason that lead to this?

any program you install before restart happen?

btw, confirm AP set accessories are different, well atleast for comset as i saw 1 forumer posting, charger, data cable and earpiece i believe is not original ARC set, not to be surprise tht the battery is non ori too, but i cant confirm, just guessing.

hmm, mine got no problem, rooted and overclock at 1.2ghz, now with .146 firmware and it seems battery is kinda better, morning till now with few massages and market browsing im still have 97%

probably a clean software flash will help, take O2 branded firmware, kinda clean and nice if you dont plan to root

not really but i do leave my IMO Messenger on and i wonder if it has something to do with task killer (But i got it since i start using arc), i uninstall task killer to see if it's working fine again, usually it will restart and show an error message of something been shut down forcefully but unsure what file is it

Not trying to scare you but have you try to restart your phone?

Mine like yours before where its stay 100% for too long and I restart it, and its just a battery glitch..
